Our Wedding

We first met in 2010, all thanks to a dear friend Mazie who brought Tyler up to Madeline Island, Nadine's hometown, for a quick summer visit. We saw each other a few times after that but it wasn't until fall of 2016 when Tyler moved back to Minnesota after several years out west that Nadine was able to claim him as her own! We fell in love so quickly it almost felt as though we had just been waiting for each other those last six years. For our first date, we walked a few miles to the closest Popeye's because Nadine had never had it before. We now eat Popeye's for most anniversary meals. After bouncing around a few apartments (sorry and thank you to our lovely friends &amp; family that helped us haul too many boxes of books and records from place to place), we were lucky enough to buy a house in our dream neighborhood South Minneapolis in October 2023. She's a fixer upper but we wouldn't have it any other way. We're looking forward to reading and listening to records together for the rest of our lives :)
