Naily and Joshua met on Instagram in June 2022 via blind/ random friend request. Naily found Joshua on instagram through one of her favorite Christian influencers account, Hailey Daleah with over 20K followers. Josh's account was set to private so Naily did not see his photos, Naily only added Josh because his bio said he was from Florida and that interested her. The next day Josh DM'd her and introduced himself. They exchanged phone numbers and spoke everyday.

They were both going through a lot of things so they related and found comfort and support in each other's company. Little by little they started to fall in love but there were many obstacles to overcome. One of them being the long distance as Naily was from New York and Joshua from Florida.

One day Josh bought plane tickets because his heart could not handle not meeting this wonderful girl in person. He risked everything and spent a nice chunk of change just to come all the way to Buffalo to meet this girl he's only known for a month. Josh never did something like this for any girl but he knew there was something different here. Naily was very scared to meet him and told him she wouldn't meet up with him and didn't speak to him for almost a week before the trip.
