International Mall is walking distance, located about two blocks from the hotel. It is Tampa's premier retail and entertainment destination and the largest mall in Tampa proper, with over 200 upscale stores, restaurants, bars, a club, and other neat, touristy attractions. The mall was built to give travelers an option to shop and dine in high-class surroundings.

Located next to the hotel, MetWest International is a beautifully designed, 32-acre mixed-use plaza offering a myriad of amenities from beauty & exercise to some of Tampa's finest dining at Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant (consider calling ahead of time to book your special wine tasting), Del Frisco’s Grille, Kona Grill, Thai Prime (where Naresh and Avani went on their first date) and Texas de Brazil. The perfect, beautiful walk or jog to take on an early Friday, December evening or during the day Saturday... on one side, a placid river shimmers - on the other, museums, shops, restaurants, and parks reside. The downtown Tampa Riverwalk serves as a hub for art, performances, fitness and more. Music plays, and couples walk hand-in-hand. The Riverwalk is a walkable path connecting culture and entertainment. San Antonio's Riverwalk is a shack compared to this.

The downtown Tampa Riverwalk travels alongside the Tampa Arts District and includes Curtis Hixon Park, The Macdill Park, the Tampa Museum of Art, Glazer Children's Museum, Rivergate Tower and adjacent atrium containing the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts.

This is a breath-taking experience that is an 8-9 minute Uber ride from the hotel. This is a superb trip to combine with dinner on Friday.
