TRAVEL ADVICE: Please remember to book your travel with time. We recommend booking your flights and hotel room or cabana promptly!   We recommend taking some time to travel around Colombia after the wedding!! 🤗 To arrange transportation or any trip planning assistance, we have provided two travel planning agencies on the <a href="https:" />planning your trip tab</a>.   The <a href="https:" />cheapest flight routes</a> from the USA and Mexico are also listed in the travel page. 🙂   TRANSPORTATION: Transportation will be provided to and from all events from The Brown, Guatapé, and the Luxe Cabanas.   If you are arriving a day or two before the wedding, we recommend going directly to Guatapé from the airport, which is between Medellin and Guatapé, and then exploring Medellin afterwards. The airport is approx 1.25 hours from both Medellin and Guatapé, and Guatapé is about 2 hours from Medellin. CONSEJOS DE VIAJE: Recuerda reservar tu viaje con anticipación. Formal / Summer Black Tie! The weather in Guatape in April is pleasantly warm, humid but cool, with average highs of 76°F (25°C) and lows of 63°F (17°C).   The ceremony and reception will be indoors, but the cocktail hour will be outdoors. Both the indoor and outdoor area will have a solid floor... and right next to the hotel and cabanas, so if you want to have an outfit or shoe change between the ceremony & the reception, DO ITTTTT!   For the skirts: Formal dresses, spring/summer black tie, colorful and fun, or black and fun. Live your best formal life, and avoid cocktail attire!   Please refrain from wearing white or shades of pine green 🤗   While the church and reception venue are stiletto friendly, Guatape’s road and the walk from the cabañas to the pickup point are less stiletto friendly. <a href="https:" />I personally love these convertible heels</a>.   For the suits: Black tie, linen suits, formal guayaberas (but like still a suit fam), all work!   (Image sources, various.
