Q + A

How do I book my trip?

There are several ways to book your trip. We recommend booking through a travel site such as Apple Vacations or Expedia. These sites allow you to bundle your stay and flight and it seems to be the cheapest option. We have a group rate link through Apple Vacations under the “Travel” section. You could also choose to book your stay through the resort directly and then book your flights separately, but this is usually more expensive.

When do I need to RSVP?

We kindly ask that you RSVP by April 1st, 2025. We have to provide booking information to the resort in advance, so please RSVP on time. You will need to have your trip booked prior to filling out the RSVP form.

What days am I required to be at the hotel?

We will be at the hotel starting Thursday May 29th, 2025, and will most likely stay for a week to 10 days. We understand this may not work for everyone's schedules. Please select the length of stay that works best for you. We want to emphasize that the week following the wedding is NOT our honeymoon, and we hope that you all will stay and enjoy the vacation week with us!

Do I need a passport?

To travel to Punta Cana, you WILL need a passport. If you already have a passport, check the expiration date. In order to travel, your passport cannot expire within 6 months of the travel date. If you do not have a passport and are planning on attending, you will need to get one. The average processing time for a passport is 6 to 8 weeks, and up to 2 weeks for mailing time, so plan accordingly.

Can I stay at a different resort?

Technically, yes. However, we are required to have at least 90% of our guests stay at the resort we are getting married at. You would also need to purchase a day pass to enter the resort to attend the wedding celebration. It would be ideal if everyone can stay at the Majestic Elegance. If you need to stay at a different location, please reach out to Natalie or Dylan to make arrangements.

Can I bring a plus one?

There is a limited number of guests the resort can accommodate for the ceremony and reception. Due to this, there are no plus ones unless specifically indicated on your invitation, either by name or “Guest.” We understand that the wedding is far away at this point and you may be in a serious relationship by the time it comes. If this is the case, please reach out to us closer to the wedding date and we will try to accommodate as many people as we can. Even if we are unable to accommodate your significant other for the wedding day, they are more than welcome to still join the vacation with you.

Can I bring my children?

Any children that are invited to the wedding are included on the invitations as "& Family."

What should I wear?

The attire is Semi-Formal or Smart Casual. We understand that it is going to be very warm, so please do not feel the need to wear a suit. For the gentlemen, we suggest wearing light colored dress pants or dress shorts and a nice polo shirt or light dress shirt. For the ladies, we recommend wearing a summer dress or a nice blouse and dress pants made of light material. Please refrain from wearing white or ivory, as these are traditionally reserved for the bride.

Is the resort all-inclusive?

Yes! The price of your stay includes your food and drink at the bars and restaurants, as well as at the Sports Bar, night club, and casino. The minibar in the rooms is also free and is restocked daily! For the golf lovers, 1 free green fee is included, or 2 if you stay in the Elegance Club. Visit the resort website for more information on what's included in your stay.

What is the Elegance Club?

While booking your stay, you will notice that there are 2 options for areas of the resort to stay in: Family and Elegance Club. The Elegance Club is a part of the resort that is for guests ages 18+ only and gives you many extra perks such as exclusive pools, bars, VIP lounges, and much more. This is completely optional. Visit the website for a full list of perks.

Does the resort offer transportation from the airport?

Yes! If your vacation package does not include transportation, you are able to book transportation to the resort from the airport on the resort's website. The price is $45 for one way or $90 for roundtrip. There are also plenty of options for taxi services upon arrival at the Punta Cana airport as well as on travel websites like Expedia.

What else do I need to know before arriving at the resort?

For those that RSVP yes to the wedding, we will be sending out additional information and tips/tricks to know before the trip!
