During COVID, when Dubai was in a complete lockdown and everyone was unable to leave the house, one of the Dubai based online girls groups (20k girls) created a 'bit of fun' game asking the girls to post photos of their single male friends and in return if another girl in the group liked the look then they would exchange details and take it from there....

Natalie posted a few of her DJ friends as a bit of a wind up but nothing progressed... Whilst having a laugh, she noticed a photo of Steve (as posted by his friend Emma) and thought he looked a bit of alright and more suited to her age rather than the 20yr olds being posted. Emma passed on Natalie's number and she started chatting to Steve. Unable to actually meet due to restrictions they had a month of skype calls & eventually Steve was allowed to collect Natalie and take her back to his place for takeaway fish & chips but she had to be home by the 9pm curfew!

They instantly got on well, especially having been through pretty awful past relationships!

As Dubai opened up they were able to go on more dates, a 1st holiday to the Maldives, a 2nd holiday to Ibiza where they both contracted COVID meant they were ‘stuck’ on their favourite island for a month together! Numerous boat parties and brunches followed and 18 months later they moved in together, along with 2 rabbits and 10 cats!

3 years later on the 14th of April 2023 whilst on a sunset cruise in Australia Steve got down on one knee & gave Natalie the biggest shock of her life asking her to marry him and of course, with no hesitation she said yes!
