Everyone knows Orlando is famous for its theme parks, but here are a few of the couple's favorite activities to do around the holidays.
Welcome to Florida, where we go indoors to experience ice in December. This extravagent ice carving display changes themes annually to ensure a new sniffly-nosed winter sensation with each holiday season. Parkas are provided at the door and we reccomend bringing your own hats and gloves if you enjoy the feeling in your fingers and ears.
"Do you enjoy Christmas trees, scavenger hunts, and Disney? Well hold onto your Mickey Mouse-themed Santa britches because oh do we have the activity for you. Natalie and I have enjoyed multiple visits searching for the impressively-themed Christmas trees scattered throughout the Disney Springs's shops and restaurants. Great for a day or night activity. Oh, and did we mention free parking?" -Tyler
The botanical pride of Orlando; Leu Gardens transports you out of the hustle and bustle and into the serene jungle of hundreds of varying plant species. It's holiday light display is a highly sought-after ticketed event.
"This was one of Natalie's and my first holiday-themed date nights and we had a blast. It's worth the trip up to Sanford to experience this unique night time display and maybe even see some nocturnal critters as well. It is a ticketed event so be sure to check for availability closer to the date." - Tyler
