Hike Avila Ridge
Use your all trails app to locate the start point of this steep hike. Short and steep this hike will be a great burn and an even greater view of the ocean.
Hotel Cerro
This newly designed upscale hotel is right in the midst of downtown slo. You are close to shopping, restaurants and hiking trails.
Air B n B
Look for great places to stay within the area using Air B n B. The ceremony will be held near Shell Beach. The address states that it is still technically Pismo Beach but we are just a few blocks from Shell Beach. The reception will be held in Arroyo Grande on what is considered the Mesa. Everything in slo county is within a 20 min drive. So you really can't go wrong. If you start looking for things in Atascadero or Paso Robles just be aware you will have a longer drive time to get to the wedding.
Central Coast Kayaks
If you are looking for a high thrill adventure on the ocean then this is your activity. You will be led by guides through ocean caves and maybe even get to see adorable baby seals and otters.
Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area
Ok so if you want a fun afternoon activity to kill some time and laugh your head off this is what you have to do. Go to Walmart and buy some boogie boards or toboggan sled and race down the sand dunes. I will recommend sunglasses or goggles to protect your eye holes.
Pismo Preserve
So many fun hiking/ walking trails here. You overlook the ocean for most of the hikes here. I definitely recommend this one for sure. The trails are fairly easy to do. All skill levels welcome.
