Candace Smith - Maid of Honor
This is my Seesterrrr. Ok for all of you who don't know Candace....you should. She is an absolute gem of a person. She lights up any room she is in. She carries the love of Jesus unlike anyone else. She could tell you story after story about being overseas and seeing miracles and radical encounters of Jesus love for people. Now to make her a perfectly well rounded human, I could tell you countless stories of eating strange food with her and having intense digestive surprises for days. Most of the time you can hear us giggling together. In fact I think we figured out we giggle almost ever other word. I always wanted a sister growing up. I prayed and prayed beside my bed for one. When I had made peace with the fact that it wasn't going to happen I met Candace years later. Little did I know that God was "still processing" my request. We have lived together in rat infested houses, we have shared a teeny tiny bedroom. We have laughed endlessly and been there through our times when we were, "down bad." I know we say this all the time but Cando you are more than a friend, you truly are my "seester. " I love you so much.
Kayla - Bridesmaid
KAYLAAAA! Oh man buddy, where do I start? Ok so Kayla is a badass. For those of you who don't know she is a singer/ songwriter/ musician/ producer/ podcast host/ apparel designer / sync artist and I'm sure she's started something else since I've written this. Ok so even though her resume is freaking impressive these are not the most impressive things about her. Kayla is a true friend. When she invests in someone she does it 110%. I can confidently say that Kayla has given her all to our friendship. She has been by my side in the toughest times. She has encouraged me to go for my dreams. She has been a loud voice in my life cheering me on. She also has this wild talent of capturing me on film doing the dumbest silly things. Her timing is impecable. Buddy I love you so much!! Thanks for always being a constant intentional friend.
Paige - Bridesmaid
Oh man Paigey!! Ok so unknown fact about Paigey is that she and I were introduced to each other by Kayla. We actually have never lived in the same place. So we have built our friendship as penpals. Then would i would come to visit Kayla I got the pleasure of getting to know Paige as well. Paige will make you laugh until you pee yourself. She is a favorite of mine. Hanging out with her is like sitting out on a back porch sipping sweet tea and enjoying a sunset. She is the sweetest most enjoyable person. I love our deep talks and I love just being around her. She is also mad artistic. I remember meeting her and seeing all her art displayed and thinking wow I could stare at this stuff for hours. On a completely different note, she is also a freaking cross fit champ. Every time I have gotten to hang with Paigey I get roped into starting out the day torturing my body. I'll do anything to get quality time with this one though. Love you Pen pal. xoxo P.S. I actually do kinda like cross fit. I wanna be as buff as you when i grow up.
Chantal - Bridesmaid
Ok so Chantal is just pure sunshine! I met Chantal somewhere in my first year of moving to the central coast. I always adored how kind and welcoming she was to "New Girl," me. I really got know know Chantal deeper when I was about to be homeless and she so graciously saved my bacon. I also got to gain another amazing friend out of the deal. Hopefully it was as much of a win win for her as it was for me!! Many nights were spent chasing her cat Sebastian out of my bed or crying with laughter while he chased the lazar. I also got to witness her get engaged to her best friend James. Then afterwards be a part of her Big Day. Although my favorite will be the camping stories or the times James and Kristian would have us text back and forth for them through our phones. I think they may have graduated to getting each other's phone number now. I love you friend and I'm thankful that we are getting to walk through similar seasons of life together. What a gift from God!!
Jordana - Bridesmaid
Jordanaaaa! It honestly still shocks me that it took us moving to California to meet each other. We grew up 30mins from each other and didn't meet until later in life. Jordana is a pure sweet soul. They don't make them as good as her. On the real this girl has been there for me through hell and back and back to hell because I decided to take a detour. I feel like meeting her taught me how to be a better friend. Thank you for laughing through life's chaos with me. I know that no matter what you've always got my back. Thanks for the millions of spiraling texts that you so graciously responded to from me. Jordana is a constant reminder of God's faithfulness in my life. I firmly believe he sent me her so I don't completely loose my marbles some days!! Love you so big my girl!!
Sabrina - Bridesmaid
I have known my bestie Sabrina since middle school! Sheesh that feels like yesterday and forever ago all at the same time. In high school It was the Shelby, Sabrina and Natalie gang. Not sure how I was cool enough to join that group but hey I won't mention it to them if ya'll don't. In all seriousness Sabrina has always been such a good friend. She would always plan such fun things for us to do. I remember her dragging me to swing dances. Which I actually ended up loving in the end. More than the dances I loved our inside jokes that would follow after. Looking back I do feel bad for "sweaty palms guy" and "2 steps off the beat guy." It's ok they'll never know. I am forever grateful for those memories. I also have probably never laughed harder than with Sabrina. I'll never forget the time we worked at the TCP (city pool). Where one day there was a massive pile up in the girl's locker room that led to us gowning up in trash bags to unclog the drains. I'll just let you guys imagine those details on your own. Sabrina is also very artistic. Much to our Math teacher's dismay, her homework would always be turned in with tons of doodles in the margins. Well Mr. Clark it was not in vain. She became a graphic designer and designed our BFF almond tattoos. Sabrina I love you so much. I'm so glad we have had such a long and meaningful friendship.
Kioko - Bridesmaid
KIOKO!! So Kioko I've probably known the shortest amount of time but it has been so great getting to have her in my life. She comes into the picture as my brother's better half. Seriously I don't know what he ever did without you. Love you Sam haha Besides being so sweet, fun and adorable, Kioko is actually going back to school for law. Yeah I know super cool huh. As if graduating from UW wasn't already impressive enough. So proud of you girl! I'm wayyyyy impressed by her passion and drive. She's making up for my lack of college years. I know I don't just speak for me when I say that we are truely honored that you have come into our family's lives. We love ya!! Also I hope we haven't freaked you out too much!
Hannah - Bridesmaid
Oh hey Cousooo! So yes this is one of only 3 cousins that I have. Also she's my only girl cousin which means she's my favorite girl cousin! So I have memories of you coming to visit from AZ every year. I remember my Mom telling us you were coming into town and honestly it usually felt like an extra holiday in the Calendar year. My child brain thought something like...Christmas is over but now we get to anticipate Aunt Terrie and Hannah coming to visit. I remember the endless episodes of Scooby Doo or watching High School Musical over and over. We were obsessed with that portable DVD player you would bring with you! haha I also remember playing this no flench tickle game with you! Basically we would try to tickle each other but you had to act like it didn't tickle or you lost. I still don't remember who was declared the winner. I also had the privilege and honor to stand up by her side when she married the love of her life Justin!! S/O Justin we love him too! I'm so thankful we have gotten to be together on our special days.
Deborah - Bridesmaid
Hey @itsdebs!!! How I formerly knew Deborah! So I was introduced to Deb through my buddy Kayla who is mentioned above. I knew who Deb was and had always admired her adorable hair styles and her fun makeup!! I either met her in a Dutch Bros drive thru or at my house I can't remember which came first. I didn't get the pleasure of knowing her until a few years later. Which I know what you're thinking...yes she's wayyyy cooler in person!! Even though it is always so funny getting to know someone through social media first I can honestly say it has not felt weird with Deb at all. Deb is the kind of person who will just burst through any walls you may have and make you love her. There is nothing too weird or off topic with her. It makes me love her even more for that! She is also, I'm pretty sure, the world's greatest mom. I have gotten the privilege to watch her raise up two adorable humans. All while having a full life and bringing the kiddos along for the ride. I also have a special place in my heart for this friend because she went to ministry school at Bethel around the same time frame I did. So we have Dutch Bro's and Jesus in common! Lol Deb I just freaking enjoy you! So thankful you moved back to the Central Coast and that I had the courage to ask if you wanted to be more than just Instagram friends. Haha Risky move...Thanks for all the voice memos and game nights....oh wait we still need to plan that next one haha I love you so much please stay on the Central Coast with me forever!

Richard Hyde - Groomsmen
I remember meeting Richard 8 years ago after he drove all the way across the country to live at my parent's for a ministry leadership school through Everyday Church. What a giant, delirious dude. Ever since then, we have essentially been roommates and great friends. Sometimes I feel like we should have a podcast about trying to come up with who has the most ridiculous football statistics. You want to have Richard in your corner because he is loyal, he has your back, and he wants the best for you.
Jack Akiono - Groomsman
Unfortunately, Jack has to go back to his Native New Zealand by the 13th and miss the wedding. I have had the pleasure of meeting Jack almost two years ago at Equippers Church and instantly became great friends. Whether it's playing pickleball or going on random lunch hangouts, I have always enjoyed every second with this dude right here.
