Groomsmen

Christopher Halley - Best Man
Chris has been my right-hand-man since we met in second grade and we have been inseparable ever since. Growing up together, we followed similar paths in life from joining band, going to Akron, and both majoring in engineering. All my friends and family shape who I am today, but there is something special about how I always look up to Chris. I was Chris's best man in his wedding and am looking forward to having him by my side for our big day.
Thomas Wheeler - Groomsman
Tom is a one-stop-shop genuine guy. Meeting our freshman year of college, we have shared a countless number of experiences together from Zips soccer games, hanging out with friends, and our shared love of skiing. I thoroughly enjoyed our much needed ping-pong breaks from our engineering studies. I am looking forward to our next ski trip and excited to shred some powder. I was absolutely honored to be a groomsman for his wedding and am thrilled for him to be part of mine.
Steven Dalvin - Groomsman
Growing up, I got a lot of my sense of adventure from following in the footsteps of my older brother Steven. Our earliest adventures were brought to us by the Legend of Zelda. For any adventure, every hero, needs a side kick. While Steve played Zelda as the hero, I watched as any good side kick would do. Little did I know at the time, this must have been the start of my love for adventure. Steve and I both enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, photography, and enjoying listening to high quality music. As I enter this next adventure in life, I am excited to have Steve by my side to start the journey.
Mark Dalvin - Groomsman
Mark has taught me to always take a look at life through a finer, more polished lens. After all, details are important and enjoyment in life comes from the little things. Looking back, I think Mark may have been trying to teach me this from an earlier age, but it settled in starting in high school. Now our love for a quality cup of coffee fuels our relationship. Mark taught me about the science behind coffee and how a little creativity can help unlock new potential. In any event, my latte art will never surpass Mark's. Each and every day, I am reminded to take a moment to enjoy the little things in life. I will surely be reminded of this with him standing next to me as I begin this new journey in life.

Bridesmaids

Emily Kisak - Matron-of-Honor
Emily is my sister and one of my favorite people (only don't tell her that). Just a few short years ago, I was maid-of-honor for her wedding, so now she gets to return the favor. She's also given me a (usually) good dog-nephew, Scooby, whom I love watching and spoiling. As one of the few people who have known me for literally my entire life, we have a very close relationship and I'm happy to have her by my side!
Katey Wilson - Bridesmaid
Katey has the honor of being my first friend in college and it's safe to say I made a good choice! We spent countless hours together in the library watching Criminal Minds and after graduation, when she moved to DC, I was thrilled. We've kept up such a close relationship that we've even traveled together abroad with no issue. She's always had my back and I know she'll continue to do so as a bridesmaid!
Jen Gilmore - Bridesmaid
Jen and I didn't become friends until later in college, even though when we had our first class (and didn't talk to each other) I sensed she would be a great person to know. When we did talk to each other, we became instantly close, like someone I'd already known for years. When she moved to Texas for her Master's we fell out of touch a bit, but when she moved back to Virginia, we picked up like just before. She is one of my closest, most dependable friends and I can always count on her!
Lauren Dalvin - Bridesmaid
Lauren is David's only sister, so I know who to credit about teaching him style! We haven't been able to spend much time together given the distance between where we live, but I'm happy to have her as a bridesmaid since family is so important to us. I'm looking forward to seeing her more in person during this time and am excited to bond with her better in the years to come over our shared hobbies of shopping and travel!
