In 2018, both Natalie and Justin made big, bold moves—literally. Natalie, a California girl with a flair for design and a love for sunshine, and Justin, a friendly Midwesterner from Iowa with an architect’s eye and an extrovert’s heart, each found their way to Colorado, chasing new adventures and fresh beginnings.

Fate (and a shared passion for beautiful spaces) brought them to the same architecture firm—Natalie as a talented interior designer and Justin as a passionate architect. At first, they were just coworkers, working side by side, friendly but professional, not knowing just yet what the universe had planned.

When the world slowed down during COVID, Natalie being the caretaker she is and knowing Justin was an extrovert and probably climbing the walls—worried he’d be going stir-crazy alone. So, she invited him over for dinner. That one meal turned into more, and soon they were spending time together outside of work, building something real in the most unexpected way.

Four years later, their life together is full of love, laughter, and the kind of adventures you only dream of. They share their home with Ryn, their sweet and amazing dog, and Onyx, their mysteriously cool cat. Whether they’re cooking side by side, exploring new countries, chasing live music, hunting down great food, or cruising the open road in their campervan Danita—life is always a little brighter together.
