Our Wedding

In 2018, both Natalie and Justin made big, bold moves—literally. Natalie, a California girl with a flair for design and a love for sunshine, and Justin, a friendly Midwesterner from Iowa with an architect’s eye and an extrovert’s heart, each found their way to Colorado, chasing new adventures and fresh beginnings. Fate (and a shared passion for beautiful spaces) brought them to the same architecture firm—Natalie as a talented interior designer and Justin as a passionate architect. At first, they were just coworkers, working side by side, friendly but professional, not knowing just yet what the universe had planned. When the world slowed down during COVID, Natalie being the caretaker she is and knowing Justin was an extrovert and probably climbing the walls—worried he’d be going stir-crazy alone. So, she invited him over for dinner. That one meal turned into more, and soon they were spending time together outside of work, building something real in the most unexpected way. Four years later, their life together is full of love, laughter, and the kind of adventures you only dream of. They share their home with Ryn, their sweet and amazing dog, and Onyx, their mysteriously cool cat. Whether they’re cooking side by side, exploring new countries, chasing live music, hunting down great food, or cruising the open road in their campervan Danita—life is always a little brighter together. Today is just one more stop on their journey, and the beginning of the next chapter—with all of you here to help celebrate it.

If you feel led to give, items such as basic school supplies (notebooks, pencils, crayons), children’s books, hygiene products, or small over-the-counter essentials are always meaningful and appreciated.Even something simple can make a big impact. If you choose to bring items, we recommend keeping them new and unopened and packing them in your checked luggage. Once in destination, you may give them directly through your resort (many have established community partnerships) or via a trusted local organization. Giving is completely optional — your presence and support of the destination already matter. But for those who love to travel intentionally, this is a beautiful way to share a little kindness while enjoying your vacation.

Things to Do

We’re so glad you’ll be joining us by the sea. Our ceremony is on the beach in the sun so please choose light, breathable fabrics (linen, cotton, chiffon, lightweight blends) and comfortable footwear you can easily remove. We’ll ask guests to leave shoes in the designated shoe area before taking seats for the ceremony. Dressy casual or beach-formal is perfect: sundresses, midi/maxi dresses, dress pants, chinos, and button-up short sleeves are all welcome. Please avoid shorts, jeans, T-shirts and baseball caps. If you’d like to bring a light layer for evening breeze, we recommend a shawl or linen jacket.
