Below are some suggested activities to do while you're in town. Most of these are in the Grand Prairie/Arlington area as that is where the couple grew up, but Dallas & Fort Worth is only but a 30 min drive (with no traffic...on the tollway).
Place where you can get small bites, drinks and play on the pickleball courts. They have a mixture of indoor and outdoor courts!
Based on the franchise in Japan, it's an arcade located in the Parks Mall. It's known for having bowling and a variety of arcade games from Japan. There is a bigger location in Grapevine.
A water light show available to view. Almost like a bootleg Disney California water show. It is in the same vicinity as Chicken and Pickle.
Another arcade with an indoor go kart. Fair warning though, karting needs to be booked way in advanced.
It's Six Flags! You can have fun on rides.
Really cute aquarium/zoo mixture. They have penguins and sloths!
The Fort Worth Zoo is worth visiting.
One of Natalie's favorite boba tea shops due to their chewy boba texture. Arlington has no shortage of boba tea shops so if this place doesn't work for you, there is bound to be another right across the street.
One of the couple's favorite taco joints in the Arlington/Grand Prairie area. Their sauce bar is a must try.
Specializes in matcha soft-serve ice cream. Also serves drinks and has traditional ice cream but with flavors like thai tea and ube.
Specialized in Vietnamese che. They also create other drinks such as milk tea and smoothies. The favorite is #10 Bambu Favorite.
A chinese restaurant that specializes in Dim Sum.
Another well-known dim sum place to the locals. Their crab fried rice is really delicious.
This is located in Fort Worth which is about a 20-30 minute drive, but if you end up being in town for a little bit longer, highly recommend stopping by this place. Has some of the best pork belly ever.
One of our favorite sushi places. Hands down one of the best sushi places we've had in Texas. We like it because it's good quality for a good value. Highly recommend if you get the chance to explore the Fort Worth area.
We personally have not been here but it's on our to-do list. This place is highly rated due to its unique fusion of Lao and Texas BBQ.
