July 30, 2020: Move to Las Vegas

Natalie and Layla (original cat) moved from Minneapolis to Las Vegas on her first travel therapy assignment.

August 22, 2020: Introduction

Natalie and Eric matched on Hinge and started out as friends

September 12, 2020: "First Date"

Natalie and Eric hung out for the first time. Eric picked Natalie up and they went hiking in Red Rock Canyon as well as breakfast at Babystack's Cafe.

January 3, 2021: Fostering Cats

Natalie decided to take in a foster cat that ended up being more medically fragile than was expected and Eric helped her by watching the cat when Natalie went on a backpacking trip.

January 22, 2021: First Trip

Natalie and Eric did a road trip to Phoenix, AZ to visit friends. Love of traveling and trips started early!

June 10, 2021: First Family Trip

Natalie's extended family planned a family trip for everyone that we were able to join in Minnesota!

September 4, 2021: First Race (10K)

Eric ran his first race that Natalie got to cheer him on! As of today, Natalie has not missed a race yet. Races have been as far east as Boston, MA, as far west as Eugene, OR, as far north as Duluth, MN, and as far south as Austin, TX.

September 12, 2021: Start Long Distance

Natalie decided to continue travel therapy and moved to Valley Springs, CA. Here she spent 3 months drinking wine and reliving her small town resident days.

October 1, 2021: First International Trip

Trip down to Chihuahua, Mexico where Natalie got to meet a lot of Eric's extended family and attend his cousin's wedding!

December 4, 2021: Eric's First Ever Marathon

Eric ran his first full marathon in Sacramento, CA with a time of 2 hours and 29 minutes! Natalie was able to drive along the route and cheer him on throughout the race.

February 14, 2022: Moving in Together

Natalie and Eric had been living together for a couple months with Eric's parents, but this was the day they officially moved into their own (rented) condo with Layla!

April 13, 2023: Boston Marathon Weekend #1

We travelled to Boston for Eric to run the marathon and spent days after in New York. This would be our first experience at a Michelin Star restaurant! Did not disappoint!

May 14, 2023: Batch of Kittens Arrive

Natalie decides to foster again and Eric agrees.. so Natalie decides on a feral mama and 5 kittens, not difficult at all! Two of these five kittens result in additions to our family about 2 months later. This brings our cat count to THREE!

February 12, 2024: Next Move

Moving up into the world! We moved from our condo to a house! Very thankful to Eric's friend to rent it out to us, even with all of our cats!

July 28, 2024: Engagement

Eric brings me camping for a weekend and we live out of our car (and campsites). Come to find out, our one night in town he had more planned than dinner at a restaurant. He took me to a beach and pulled out a ring!!
