It was July 2020, right in the heart of the pandemic. Natalie had just graduated from college and living with her friends. Mark moved to a new house in North Hills. The world shut down. One afternoon scrolling through the dating app, Hinge, Natalie ran across Mark's profile. She sent him a chat, and to her surprise he replied! From there the relationship flourished; full of laughs, dance parties in the kitchen, watching Pirates games, and hosting their annual Halloween Party. They became the best of friends. In April 2024 they added a fluffy little kitten named Goose to their family and love him dearly. To all of our friends and family, we cannot wait to celebrate our big day with you all!

Get to know our Wedding Party!

Allison is a cousin of the bride. Growing up down the road from each other, Natalie and Ali were raised like sisters. They dubbed themselves as "sister-cousins" as neither have a sister of their own. They've been close from childhood to adulthood, offering each other advice, baking for family functions and shopping of course! Ali is finishing her Masters in Speech-Language Pathology.

Will is the older brother of the Groom. He was 6 years old when he met Mark and has been brothers with him ever since. We enjoy doing some of our favorite activities together such as playing N64, listening to music and 3-putting. Will is the father of our flower girl Katarina! 

Will Hollis

Lexi is a younger cousin of the bride. She's an avid singer and lover of horses. She and Natalie share a love for the musical, "Mamma Mia!", eating donuts and the beach. She's currently attending Edinboro to pursue a degree in nursing.

Evan is a friend of the Groom. He and Mark met in middle school, both heroically navigating through the Wild West of Xbox public lobbies. Evan is the only one that knows Mark secretly wanted to play lacrosse instead of baseball. He currently lives in NYC with the most adorable dog, Clementine.

Evan Kilroy

Katie is a younger cousin of the Bride. She's currently finishing high school at Titusville HS. She loves animals, especially dogs and horses. She aspires to be a Veterinarian or Nurse Anesthetist when she's older!

Katie Banner

Gino is a friend of the groom. They met in 7th grade and quickly became friends after discovering each other's identical sense of humor. Through the years they have spent countless hours playing video games and slamming down buffalo chicken pizzas together. The two remain close as ever and never fail to make each other laugh. 

Gino Caputo

Lauren is a friend of the bride. They met freshman year at Duquesne! Lived together Sophomore year and were also roommates while studying abroad in Italy! They share a love of shopping, Benny Fierro's pizza, and mojitos. Lauren recently graduated with her Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree. 

Lauren Wood

John is a friend of the Groom. They met in middle school and have survived many ordeals including matches on a virtual battlefield, intense games of release that shook the neighborhood and sports pickup games that left many bruises. John is "Mama Hollis' favorite" as quoted from a reliable source. He is an engineer and currently living in Maryland. 

John Witherel

Maddie is a friend of the Bride. They met at their first nursing job at AGH Neuro ICU. They bonded over learning and navigating the world of nursing and sassing back to the neurosurgeons. They enjoy trips to Home Goods and drinking Pumpkin Cream Cold Brews together. Maddie is pursuing a law degree from University of Pitt. 

Maddie Hanaway 

Kevin is a friend of the Groom. Kevin and Mark have been friends from the beginning. From running around the neighborhood playing Batman as kids, then jamming in Mark's car to and from high school, now planning yearly golf outings together. Kevin resides in Pittsburgh with his wife Kate and cat, Koop!

Kevin Higgins

Liz is a friend of the Bride. They first met at freshman orientation, then spent the next four years of college connected at the hip, to now planning play dates for their cats. bffs circa 2016! Even though they talk every day, and see each other at least once a week, they still make sure to go on yearly trips together. Liz is Natalie's unpaid therapist and an ICU nurse at UPMC Presby.

Elizabeth Smialek

Mark and Tyler became friends back in 7th grade Spanish class as Marcus y Pablo. They've been close ever since and have played countless hours of video games together, some where Tyler would listen to Mark scream at his tv so loud, one would think the neighbors could hear. Tyler lives in Pittsburgh with his wife Emily and their baby (dog) Milo.

Tyler Cahill

Rachel is a friend of the Bride. She and Natalie met during nursing school and have been close friends ever since. They lived together for 2 years after graduation and go on vacations every year together! Rachel recently began her graduate degree for Nurse Anesthetist.

Rachel Reed

Dylan is a friend of the groom. They met on the baseball team at Penn State and have been close friends ever since. Forming memories on & off the field to now on & off the golf course. After a Pirates game you can probably find them at Mike’s Beer Bar. Dylan is the proud dog-dad of the one and only Murphy. 

Dylan Finocchi

Eugenia is a friend of the Bride. She and Natalie met when they started dancing together at Dancer’s Studio in 2008, and they’ve been friends ever since! They enjoy Pirates games, dancing on a night out, sharing new recipes to try, & sending videos of their pets. They also performed a pretty iconic tap duo back in the day that they still reminisce about haha! Eugenia is so excited to be one of Natalie’s bridesmaids on her big day! Eugenia is currently finishing her degree in Neuroscience to hopefully work in the medical field one day!

Eugenia Barboza

Adam is a friend of the Groom. They met in 2015 after they both transferred to Penn State where they played together on the baseball team. They quickly became good friends and continue to be to this day. Whether it’s golfing, playing MLB the Show or getting together for parties, they continue to make lots of memories and laughs. Adam currently works for the IT department at Penn State.

Bella is a younger cousin of the bride. She lives her young life to the fullest and loves anything pink!

Hank is the youngest cousin of the Bride and nephew of the Maid of Honor. Hank LOVES his Pap, hunting wolves and driving on his four-wheeler.
