From Bari, there are a couple of ways to get to Ostuni:

1) Rental car: Take the motorway E55 and drive for about 60 km. Take the first exit to Ostuni.

Please note that when driving to the venue, you want to stay on the main roads SP16, SP14, and/or SP22

2) Public Transport: Take a bus or a train (recommended) from the airport to Bari train station. From here take a train to Ostuni. Note that train strikes are common in Italy.

From Brindisi, there are a couple of ways to get to Ostuni:

1) Rental Car: Take the motorway E55 to Bari and drive for about 30 km. Take the first exit to Ostuni.

2) Public Transport: From Brindisi train station take a train direction Bari. Make sure it stops at Ostuni train station. From Ostuni train station take a bus to get to the city centre. Please note that trains strike in Puglia frequently.

There are several trains running from cities in Italy (including Rome and Milan) to Ostuni. You can train from Rome to Bari in about 4 hours, then go directly from Bari to Ostuni in about 30 minutes. The ItaliaRail site is excellent, we’ve linked it here!

We have also made great use of the “omio” app. Omio.com can also be used. It shows busses, flights, and trains! It’s very user friendly for transportation booking.

Please note that trains and transport in Italy strike frequently.

Ostuni’s train station is on the Bari – Lecce regional train line. A modern, efficient and reliable train service runs regularly connecting Ostuni to Monopoli, Polignano, Bari and to Brindisi and Lecce. However the train station is approximately 3.5km from town, connected by a bus service and occasional taxis!
