Vince reached out to&nbsp;Natasha on Linkedin to congratulate her on her new job and say he was&nbsp;&nbsp;"interested in a demo"... or a date as she likes to joke. They exchanged&nbsp;a few messages but didn't confirm the meeting. Two weeks later they ran into each other at a hedge fund networking event and he recognized her and said hello. After exchanging pleasantries he invited her to Untitled when the event was over. She politely declined since she was with a large group of coworkers. When her group was deciding where to head next, she volunteered Untitled although she had just met the group and didn't have much say in the evening's activities. Natasha's friend and bridesmaid, Courtney who normally played the role of social director for the group was intrigued by Natasha's suggestion and steered the group towards Untitled. Upon arrival, the reason Natasha wanted to go to Untitled became evident as she and Vince spent the rest of the evening chatting and laughing. They continued their playful banter to Headquarters beercade and then Tippling Hall&nbsp;that evening as the group dwindled down.&nbsp;

How We Met

Vince, Natasha and her children, Croix and Eivissa had just finished watching a beautiful sunrise in their pajamas on Mackenzie Beach in Vancouver Island, BC&nbsp;steps away from their hotel room. It was a beautiful sight and Vince dropped to one knee and presented the ring in a clam shell. Natasha was so surprised and stunned she said "Thank you, I love you." as&nbsp;she was distracted by the beauty of the ring. He said "But is that a yes?" and she said of course and drew Yes in the sand. The kids who had been playing close by ran over and said they recognized that he proposed because it was just like what they had seen in the movies.&nbsp;

THE PROPOSAL 

A few weeks after meeting, Natasha and Vince went on their first official date together. Given their high energy levels, this would be no ordinary dinner and movie date. The location was the West Loop, and the venues where many. The goal was to have one drink and conversation at a place in the West Loop, then move on to another location. During that night, they managed to patron more than 8 establishments. Each drink and conversation more enjoyable and riveting then the last. Because of their shared career experiences, they had a lot to talk about and realized they had a lot in common. The positive and seemingly endless energy was intoxicating to both, neither wanted the night to end. Which is why to this day, they still continue the same tradition of having a drink and a conversation at one establishment, and moving on to the next. They are both eager to take in as much as they can, always interested, curious and excited for the next adventure.

Kevan and I have been brothers since we were four years old. Since the early days at Village Oaks Elementary we have rolled together. He was there for me during some of my toughest times, and always had my back. He the most optimistic and positive guy I know, with an energy that makes you want to be around him.  To this day, now over thirty-four years later we're just as close. The only thing fitting for Kevan is Best Man for my wedding. He is and always will be my brother, my family.

Rebecca has been my BFF, partner in crime  and travel buddy since sophomore year at St. Ignatius. We were also college roommates at UIUC where we were known as the braces twins freshman year. We studied abroad in Spain and backpacked Europe together and now our families globetrot together as well. As the godmother to my daughter and my go to doc on any medical related question, she is the number one person I text about anything and everything.  I couldn't imagine getting married without her by my side. 



Rebecca Rodriguez-Leiva

My little buddy Croix; though I've only known him for almost three years it was at a time when he was still very young. Our first encounter was when Natasha decided it was ok for me to meet her children. We met just outside of her place, I had brought Croix and his sister Eivissa a treat from Starbucks. They were unsure of me at the time, Eivissa definitely more so than Croix. Since then he's been my best little guy, we play sports together, read comics and talk. His inquisitive nature, and fun-loving spirit is infectious. I'm honored to have had the opportunity to meet him, and even more honored and proud to be apart of his life. He will know and see that I will cherish the most important person in his life forever, his mother. 



Croix Ramos

Eivissa is my pride and joy and my mini-me. The moment she was born is when I knew what true love really meant. She is an old soul and wise beyond her years. She is witty, smart, nurturing and thoughtful and I'm the proudest mama in the world to have this beautiful little lady standing by my side. 



Eivissa Ramos

Maya is my eldest sister. We've shared lots of memories together. We've been on sports teams together, book club, traveled together and always seem to be the last ones to go home from a party or bar. We share a love of running, wine, and books. I'm so happy that we have also been able to embark on the journey of motherhood together as we both have intelligent, precocious, strong amazing daughters. I'm honored to have her by my side on my wedding day. 



Maya Solis

My friend and brother, Joe. Friends since we were 8 years old, we've gone through the most transformative times of our lives together as college roommates. We dealt with the changes together, learned a lot about each other and grew as men. Graduated together, and continued our friendship. Through all of the crazy times we've experienced together, we've always supported each other and remained honest. I appreciate everything I've learned, lived and fought through with him. He's a great friend.&nbsp;

Joe Policicchio

Billy DuBose and his brother Brod DuBose have been like my older brothers. We are all just a few years apart in age, and basically grew up together. I always looked up to them both, and looked to them for advice when it came to matters of being cool. Billy and I have hung out a lot over these last 15 years since I moved to Chicago, he regularly visits me and we always have a great time. Thanks for joining me on this journey!

Billy DuBose

Sol is my older sister and just like a proper middle sister, she is level headed, the voice of reason and the peace keeper. We share a love of adventure, travel and athletic pursuits.  I've had the opportunity to go on some great adventures with Sol, whether it be visiting an elephant camp in Thailand, teaching children to count to ten in English in Laos, rappelling waterfalls in Puerto Rico, or traveling to DC for the happiest of moments (Obama's inaugurational ball) and saddest moments(protesting Trumps inauguration during the Women's March). She will always light up the room with her quick wick and silliness. I've always admired her varied talents and her work ethic. I'm happy to have her by my side on my wedding day. 



Sol Solis

Joey is my little brother. Just nine months apart in age, our mothers who are cousins, grew up together in Alabama and probably had this planned. Joey and I have always been close confidants, and supportive of each other goals and ambitions. One of my favorite memories is our family trip to Disney World as early teenagers, we ran wild all over that place, but actually never set foot in the Magic Kingdom! I know we drove our parents crazy. We have had so many good times together, and he's always had my back. I can't thank him enough for being there for me on this important day.

Joey Hobson

Courtney has been a truly loyal, fun and fantastic friend since the moment we met. I met Courtney almost 3 years ago at my previous company but our relationship goes far beyond work. She has been there since the first day I met Vince and honestly if it wasn't for her we may not be together today (See story of how Vince and I met). She has witnessed our entire romance, shared many great memories with both of us and is always there when I need her. Her big bubbly happy personality always brings a smile to my face. It is literally impossible to not be happy when she is around. I'm honored to have her by my side.

Victoria is located on Vancouver Island and is a 90 minute car ferry 
ride from Vancouver or a 20 minute flight by sea plane from downtown 
Vancouver.&nbsp;

I highly recommend finding flights directly into Victoria (YYJ). You will have a layover in either Seattle or Vancouver. For some reason airfare is cheaper to Victoria than Vancouver. If you went to Vancouver first then you'd have to pay additional for ferry or a plane ride over.&nbsp; We have flown both Delta and Canada Air to Victoria&nbsp;in the past and have had good experiences with both.&nbsp; I wouldn't try and fit too many other cities into this trip, Vancouver Island is absolutely gorgeous and has hundreds of things for you to see and do and could keep you busy for an entire summer.

If guests are planning on spending time in Downtown Vancouver beforehand, the sea plane is probably the quickest and easiest way to get to Victoria. 





If
 guests are coming from Vancouver and will be spending more time on 
Vancouver Island, you can hire a car and take a car ferry. Many 
Canadians take the ferry to the island during the summer to enjoy its 
beautiful nature, trails and beaches.
