Victoria is located on Vancouver Island and is a 90 minute car ferry ride from Vancouver or a 20 minute flight by sea plane from downtown Vancouver.

I highly recommend finding flights directly into Victoria (YYJ). You will have a layover in either Seattle or Vancouver. For some reason airfare is cheaper to Victoria than Vancouver. If you went to Vancouver first then you'd have to pay additional for ferry or a plane ride over. We have flown both Delta and Canada Air to Victoria in the past and have had good experiences with both. I wouldn't try and fit too many other cities into this trip, Vancouver Island is absolutely gorgeous and has hundreds of things for you to see and do and could keep you busy for an entire summer.

If guests are planning on spending time in Downtown Vancouver beforehand, the sea plane is probably the quickest and easiest way to get to Victoria.

If guests are coming from Vancouver and will be spending more time on Vancouver Island, you can hire a car and take a car ferry. Many Canadians take the ferry to the island during the summer to enjoy its beautiful nature, trails and beaches.
