What time does the ceremony start/ when should I arrive?
The ceremony will start promptly at 3:30 pm, so we ask guests to arrive at 3 pm. This will give you more than enough time to park and get settled before the ceremony begins. To minimize distractions guests will not be allowed to enter the ceremony space once the ceremony begins. You are more than welcome to hang out in the reception space until the ceremony is over and we will join you for Cocktail Hour. Thank you for your understanding!
When should I RSVP by?
Kindly RSVP by Friday October 9th, 2026. If you cannot attend, we will miss you and appreciate you letting us know as soon as possible. Those who do not RSVP by the Oct. 9th deadline - we are so sorry you cannot make it! If you miss this date we will be unable to accommodate your presence at the wedding as we will have already sent our final headcount to vendors. Thank you so much for your understanding!
Can I bring my child/children to the wedding?
We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!
Can I bring a date/ plus one?
Due to limited venue capacity, we are only available to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one it will appear on your invitation as well as under your name when you RSVP. Please respect our wishes as we are trying to keep our wedding an intimate celebration. Thank you so much for your understanding!
What is the dress code?
We'd love to see our guests get dressed up for our big day. The dress code is cocktail or optional formal attire. Ladies can wear floor length, tea- length, ankle length or midi formal dresses. For colors anything dark jewel toned or neutral colors would be appreciated. Gentlemen can wear a suit & tie. No jeans or tennis shoes please! Please also avoid whites, creams and ivory colors. If you need inspiration or are not sure about what to wear please check out the link for inspiration:

Is there an open bar?
There will be an open bar (beer, wine, and cocktails) from Cocktail Hour till 10pm. After 10pm it turns into a cash bar until the end of the night.
What does parking look like at "The Ivy House"?
Given that our venue is located in downtown Milwaukee parking is hard to come by. However, Ivy House has a parking lot with 60 spaces. These spaces are on a first come first serve basis and once they are filled up guests will need to find street parking. Given that there is alcohol being served we highly suggest carpooling with a designated driver, or using Uber, Lyft, etc. to travel from the hotel to the venue and vice versa. This way parking and drinking and driving will not be an issue. If in the event you cannot drive home you are allowed to leave your car overnight, it just needs to be picked up 10am the following morning.
Where should I stay for the wedding weekend?
We thank you wholeheartedly for traveling to celebrate with us! Please visit our “Travel” tab to see hotels in the area. Those listed with block option are offering a discounted rate when you book under “May- Pintar Wedding” hotel block. Please make sure to book your hotel before 11.03.26. If you do not book by this date we cannot guarantee that there will be a room for you at the discounted group rate.
Will the Wedding Ceremony take place indoors or outdoors?
Given that this is a winter wedding in Wisconsin and the weather can be unpredictable, we have decided that the Wedding Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception will all take place indoors at the Ivy House! Guests are still welcome to use the patio for fresh air but no official wedding events will take place outdoors.
