We can't wait for you to join us in Indianapolis for our wedding! We have been proud to call Indy our home for the past three years and are excited to share it with you all. Below, we have included some of our favorite things to do in Indianapolis in case you have free time during our wedding weekend. If you are still looking for more to do, we recommend visiting this website: https://www.visitindy.com/.
Livery is one of our favorite restaurants downtown. They are known for their empanadas and amazing margaritas. If you can, try to grab a seat on the patio upstairs.
The Garage is a food hall in the heart of the Bottleworks District. We always joke that everyone can find something that they like at The Garage. From burgers, to sushi, to ramen, to lobster rolls, the vendors at The Garage have it all.
BODHI (pronounced bow-dee) is a Thai restaurant and cocktail bar on the outskirts of the Bottleworks District. BODHI doesn't take reservations, so we recommend getting a drink at Bottleworks Hotel while you wait.
The Garden Table is our favorite restaurant in our neighborhood (Broad Ripple). It's a great brunch place that sources all of its ingredients locally. We usually split a breakfast burrito, and their juices are amazing.
This is our climbing gym! They offer day passes that give you full access to bouldering, top rope, and lead climbing. Please note that you will be asked to pass a belay test if you choose to climb top rope routes.
Tappers is the best arcade bar in Indy. All of the games are free, and it's located in the Fountain-Fletcher neighborhood close to downtown.
Another Bottleworks District favorite, Pins Mechanical Co. offers duckpin bowling, yard games, and pinball.
Eagle Creek Park has miles of hiking trails, canoes and kayaks for rent, and one of the best ornithology centers in the Midwest. Eagle Creek also has a high ropes/zipline adventure course called Go Ape. We haven't tried it, but we have heard it's very fun.
