DNA: Working out has easily been one of our favorite things to do. When we first started talking, Kayla was quite against the thought of working out becoming a regular activity. But after just a few sessions, she understood why Nathan loved it so much and soon fell in love with it too. Now - we get more excited over new pre-workout flavors than tv shows or movies.

DNA: As mentioned in our story, Kayla had never been to an Astros game before Nathan came along. Since that first game, we have been to many games and Kayla has grown very knowledgable of the sport. This photo in particular was taken on our 1yr anniversary at the Astros game where we watched Lion King on the jumbortron after the game!

Story: When we first started talking, Nathan (consistently) poked that Kayla would need to take him to Taste of Texas for dinner sometime since he had never been and she enjoyed going there. After the original plan of going for our 6mo anniversary fell through, we joked that it would take another 6 months for us to have time to go.... little did we know we would actually end up waiting for our one year anniversary to go.

Story: Before Nathan, Kayla had never heard of Cody Johnson or been to the Houston Rodeo. Rodeo season came along, and that had to change. Those of you who have been to the rodeo know its not something you just go to at event start... you have to experience the fair at least once. We were there for hours and got pretty hungry (mainly Nathan, but thats nothing new), but the Lord came in clutch and provided manna from Mrs. Bairds that tied us over until later. To this day, it is still some of the best bread we’ve ever had.
