Janeen is more than my sister but someone who has consistently been in my corner my entire life. She is also one of the best moms I've ever known, and I have seen her patience grow immensely in motherhood. She is one of the strongest people you will ever meet and the best person I could think of to stand by me on my wedding day.

Andrew is my cousin and like a brother to me. We grew up in different states, but were always close on family vacations. I was so glad I convinced him to move to Charlotte and be my roommate for a couple years. He’s very funny and very caring. I never miss a chance to make fun of him.

Emily and I got close so fast because she is truly one of the silliest people I know and one of the few people who can match my wild, fun, and chaotic energy. She loves the Lord above all else and has consistently given me wise counsel. Some of the best advice she has given me was when I texted her one night and said "You've known Nathan for awhile... what do you think of him?" On top of all of that, she is witty, smart, caring, and everything you could ask for in a friend. She is the complete package.

Daniel is one of the smartest and most enthusiastic people I know. He has known me and my entire family as long as I can remember. He is always reading books and talks with enthusiasm about everything. I'm not surprised he ended up in grad school and teaches a college class now.

Trisha always has been, and probably always will be, "the mom friend." The fact that we call her that is a testament to how caring and nurturing she is. She will always remember to reach out to you when it matters most to check on you and let you know that you're not alone.

Noble has known me well during every season of my life. We grew up together at Boy Scouts and summer camps, and now, he comes to Charlotte often. He is always fun to have deep conversations with and always shows up with a Bible and encouragement to share.

Trina is one of the most selfless people I know. She would very likely give you the shirt off her own back if you asked her. Her commitment to serving people in and out of the church inspires me to be Christlike in the same way and serve others for His glory.

Aaron is a close friend of mine from childhood. We lived on the same street for many years and spent a lot of time at each other's houses and even more times in the yard, in the woods, or in the garage doing projects. If you get a chance to meet him, ask about his amazing woodworking skills.

Amy was the first person in Nathan's immediate family that I had the pleasure of meeting, and boy, was I nervous. As soon as I met her, I realized she was sweet and kind and that I had nothing to worry about. I must have made a fast impression because she invited me to go to the Asheboro Zoo before Nathan got the chance to! I'm looking forward to having a sister in the same state as me.

Adam has been one my of closest friends in the last couple years. As a faithful brother in Christ, we have challenged each other to grow closer to God and supported each other through similar struggles. I value his encouraging words and his Dad level humor.

Joy's name says it all. She will probably hate that I am writing about her name...but I can't help it because she is truly a joy to be with and adds so much fun and lightness when she is around. She also has great taste in engagement rings ;) I'm so excited to have another sister!

Alex is a great friend in Charlotte that I met during a season I really needed a close friend. He stepped up to start a Bible study, and I was honored he chose me as his co-lead. He has a great ambition for real estate and traveling.

Samantha is the friend that got to see me through that very awkward middle school/high school phase, and for some reason, she decided she still wants to be friends with me after witnessing that. She is my favorite movie buff and Post Malone fan. Even though she has the worst taste in sports teams... I knew I wanted her to stand alongside me on this important day.

John and I both met years ago at Vizion church. I enjoy hearing about his life experiences as a film maker and as someone who had lived in Charlotte back when it was a small place. He is such an honest friend and has a unique skill of speaking backwards.
