What to wear

Wedding attire

We request that all guests dress formally for our wedding. It will hopefully be outdoors however, if the rain is inevitable it will be hosted indoors on the castle property.

Travel clothes

Ireland is rainy! Not as rainy as you might think, this time of year tends to be a bit more mild and still warm. Bring fall weather clothes and comfortable shoes. You won’t need rain boots as for the most part you're not standing in the rain much but that is your call! As always layers are best!

Britt and Nate’s Itinerary

Wondering where we will be?

We will post our itinerary for you all to see so if you would like to meet up with us you can plan your trip accordingly and we can hopefully get some quality time with each of you!

Transportation

How to get around

We find that renting a car is the best way to see the country on your own however, there are many sources for travel around Ireland. Their transit system is easy to use and you can get a return bus ticket (cheaper to buy return) from aiport to city centre of Dublin. You will NOT need a car in Dublin as everything is within walking distance or a short cab or Uber ride away. There is a lite rail transit to get around the city and the Dart which is a major train that can take you from major city to major city. There are plenty of tours that take you around to all the major sightseeing places as well and options for even self driving tours. Please note, when renting a car the rental will be affordable but you MUST pay for insurance upon arrival even if your credit card covers you they will not allow you to leave without paying for insurance unless you can put a 5000 EURO hold on your credit card for incidentals. Please save an extra $300 cad or so for insurance.
