Can I bring additional guests or travelling companions?

Quite possibly! Please just check in with us so we can keep track of numbers.

Kahanda Kanda has some beautiful pools - can we swim?

We'll have our swimmies in case we feel like a cooling dip at the end of the night, feel free to bring yours!

Can we stay at the wedding venue?

Unfortunately Kahanda Kanda only has a few rooms which have already been reserved for the dates of the wedding.

Are children welcome?

Yes, please just let us know.

Why does your reception start at 18.04?

In Sri Lanka, astrologers are consulted before weddings to ensure that the date, timings and other details of the event are auspicious. We have followed this tradition, and based on our star charts this is the right moment to begin the reception!

Does the wedding venue have parking?

Yes, some. Please tell us if you'll need parking at the venue so we can keep an eye on capacity.

Please get in touch with us if you have questions about anything else at all. We know attending a wedding in Sri Lanka is a a lot to ask for our overseas guests and we would like to make things as easy and comfortable as possible.
