It’s a story of how a King met his Queen in Prussia…

2019 was an extremely busy year for Neel, both in his personal and professional life. In summer of 2019, Neel had just returned to his home in King of Prussia from a road trip with his friends when he realized that there’s more to life than work and hanging out with friends. That realization made him consider looking for a life partner. At the same time, Priyal moved to King of Prussia for a job opportunity and was also wanting to settle down in her life. Both had heard about a dating app called Coffee Meets Bagel and decided to join to pursue a relationship.

One fine day, Neel and Priyal matched with each other on the app. Neel liked that Priyal had same cultural and educational background as him and could relate with her. On the other hand, Priyal found it interesting that Neel went to same college as hers and was curious to find out more about him. For their first date, Neel and Priyal met at a local town restaurant, City Works. They clicked right away and didn’t realize how quickly hours passed by talking to each other. Since then, Neel and Priyal have shared numerous laughter and tears together. Till date, they continue to feel privileged to have cross each other’s paths and have decided to stick together regardless of the challenges that come their way.

Will you marry me?

On September 18th 2021, Neel and Priyal drove to Blue Mountain Vineyards in PA. The drive was scenic, and the music was on point. As Neel & Priyal arrived at the location, the table for wine tasting was elegantly setup with perfect wine and cheese pairing followed by a tour of the vineyard. Priyal asked a million questions on the tour while Neel was looking at his watch, waiting for the right moment to walk up the hill.

Neel & Priyal then took a stroll through the wines and eventually got to the proposal location. Priyal had no idea what was going to happen in next couple of minutes till Neel put on a jacket. At this moment, Neel held Priyal’s hand and walked down the aisle, reminding her of all the beautiful moments that had made him fall in love with her. At the end of the aisle, Neel went down on a knee and asked her to marry him. And that’s how Neel proposed Priyal. After the big ‘YES’, Neel & Priyal were joined by family & friends and the moment was celebrated with an awesome after-party. All the planning and hard work that went in the proposal really paid off when Priyal couldn’t stop smiling and said it was the most memorable day of her life.
