Upon entry, the Dominican Republic is not requiring negative COVID tests or proof of vaccination so long as you remain in the resort.

The USA CDC is requiring that all air passengers (regardless of vaccination status or citizenship) flying back to the states have a negative COVID-19 test result no more than 1 day before traveling back to the country. (Updated 12/2/2021).

The best option for you to comply with the above requirement is to purchase an At-Home Rapid Test that is authorized by the CDC for international travel. It's important to note that not all tests are accepted for traveling so it's very important to choose the right one.

Abbott’s BinaxNOW™ COVID-19 Ag At-Home Test Kit (the one in the black box shown below) satisfies these requirements. Abbott has another similar-looking test kit which does not satisfy the requirements so make sure to purchase only the one shown below.

Ellume's COVID-19 Home Test (the one in the white/teal box shown below) also satisfies these requirements. Make sure to follow the kit's instructions for the AZOVA video observation services which allows you to use these results to return to the United States. Note: Make sure to schedule your call 3 days ahead of your flight back to the USA.

Reliant's Clarity COVID-19 Antigen Test is also a good option which will provide a "fit-to-fly certificate". These can be purchased online here: https://gettestednow.com/

If you aren't able to find one of the above tests prior to flying into the DR, Casa de Campo Resort & Villas has set up a private VIP testing lounge to provide both Antigen tests and PCR tests for guests returning to their countries of origin, under the supervision and contribution of Central Romana Medical Center.

The cost per test is US$45.00 for the antigen tests and US$72 for the PCR Polymerase test which can be paid with a credit card at the testing site. Appointments are required and can be scheduled by emailing vacationplanner@ccampo.com.do
