The first thing Nestor saw when he walked into Sweet Liberty was a large neon sign with the words “Pursue Happiness” on the wall. The second was a gorgeous blonde girl from New Jersey wearing 4” heels and business attire. After downing a few drinks of liquid courage, Nestor approached her. After he learned she worked for Heineken, he instantly realized he had met the girl of his dreams and decided to impress her by imparting his beer knowledge. The first thing Eva saw when she walked into Sweet Liberty was a large neon sign with the words “Pursue Happiness” on the wall. The second was the venue running low on Heineken, the third was the lack of staff tending bar and the last thing she expected was to be approached by a patron. After correcting him on his beer knowledge (Heineken is made in Holland and not Germany), she did her best to quickly wrap up the conversation giving him her phone number (which luckily turned out to be real). Two months later, they went on their first date. The rest, as they say, is history.&nbsp;

We highly recommend teaming up with other friends attending the wedding and renting a villa as opposed to renting a room at the hotel.&nbsp;Many places come with staff or maid service. Make sure a golf cart is included so you can get around Casa De Campo.&nbsp;If your villa does not include a golf cart, one can be rented from the hotel for $86 a day (includes taxes). Villa Rental Agent

There are 3 airports near Casa De Campo. In order from closest to farthest:- LRM (La Romana) 10 minutes- PUJ (Punta Cana) 50 minutes- SDQ (Santo Domingo) 70 minutes Airport Transportation If you are flying in to Punta Cana (PUJ) or Santo Domingo (SDQ), you will need to pre-book transportation to Casa de Campo and vice versa. We recommend reaching out to Sugar Tours owned by Alexander Bello. Sugar Tours operates several transport vehicles in the area. The rate is $120 for a one-way transport. This fee can be split amongst multiple passengers so we suggest coordinating your arrival/departure with other guests to help minimize costs. If you are flying into La Romana (LRM) transportation from the airport can be arranged near the baggage claim.

Upon entry, the Dominican Republic is not requiring negative COVID tests or proof of vaccination so long as you remain in the resort. The USA CDC is requiring that all air passengers (regardless of vaccination status or citizenship) flying back to the states have a negative COVID-19 test result no more than 1 day before traveling back to the country. (Updated 12/2/2021). The best option for you to comply with the above requirement is to purchase an At-Home Rapid Test that is authorized by the CDC for international travel. It's important to note that not all tests are accepted for traveling so it's very important to choose the right one. Abbott’s BinaxNOW™ COVID-19 Ag At-Home Test Kit (the one in the black box shown below) satisfies these requirements. Abbott has another similar-looking test kit which does not satisfy the requirements so make sure to purchase only the one shown below. Ellume's COVID-19 Home Test (the one in the white/teal box shown below) also satisfies these requirements. Make sure to follow the kit's instructions for the AZOVA video observation services which allows you to use these results to return to the United States. Note: Make sure to schedule your call 3 days ahead of your flight back to the USA. Reliant's Clarity COVID-19 Antigen Test is also a good option which will provide a "fit-to-fly certificate". The cost per test is US$45.00 for the antigen tests and US$72 for the PCR Polymerase test which can be paid with a credit card at the testing site.
