Back then, Nhu had initially started her process to move to Canada to fulfill her dream of studying abroad. But because of (or thanks to?) COVID, this plan never solidified, thus beginning a year of uncertainty about how or when we would see each other again... Finally, in October 2020, Nhu decided to withdraw her applications to Canada and apply to France instead. The whole process took 2 months. TWO MONTHS! It was like the stars had finally aligned, and it was destined that we would reunite in France, however cliché it may sound.
