Indian E-visa

Please apply online with 4 passport size photos. Recommend applying at least 3 weeks in advance, ideally before the Christmas Holidays.The electronic visa is quite quick and seamless for all Australian passport holders, with all steps done online. ✈️ Flights 

Recommend booking flights as early as possible. We use Kayak or Skyscanner to find cheap flights. Singapore Airlines are the best carrier, but other options such as Vietnam Airlines, Air India and Qantas are quite good too. Avoid Malaysian airways as my experience has been quite poor with them.

Travel

Indicative Itinerary travel around Mumbai by a private bus.

Day 1 - Shopping Day 25 Jan Buy authentic Indian attire for the wedding in the Markets of Mumbai. A tour of Colaba Markets with a mix of chaos and excitement. Followed by food and beers @ Cafe Leopold!! Day 2 - Elephanta Caves (Potentially one night stay) 26-27 Jan Ferry Ride from Gateway of India to the Elephanta Islands and likely overnight stay. Visit Colonial past of Mumbai - Victoria Fountain, Victoria Terminus, Taj Hotel. The visit is bound to involve seafood meals. Day 3 - Vasai Fort (Sunset Point) 28 Jan Remnants of Portuguese architecture and a beautiful tropical sunset. You'll be guaranteed to take a few pictures.
