Castillo, San Felipe del Morro is a historical fortress that was built in 1539, making it a beautiful site seeing spot and you can learn about Puerto Rico's history. Here you can find an open field where many people fly kites, picnic, and take pictures of the fort with the beautiful ocean view.
Of course you would have to visit this place for Nicholas's legacy, as well as Alyssa’s very soon! The plaza has a statue of Christopher Columbus, with many restaurants, cafes, and shopping areas. It is generally a busy and happening area if you're looking for something more fast pace in the highly recommended area of Old San Juan.

If you are into art, this place is where you should definitely go. There are a lot of galleries, museums, and a courtyard devoted to contemporary arts. This area is unique, because it combines historic Puerto Rico and modern times. You will find vintage shops, eateries, night clubs, and experimental restaurants. This is where the locals hang out. The best way of transportation here is by walking the streets and discovering what Santurce has to offer. La Plazita de Santurce is where many locals hang out, during the day there is an farmers market, and at night it turns into an urban hangout with live music and great food. It's best to go on Thursdays and Fridays, for night time if you are to explore this area. It is located right off of Baldorioty Avenue and very close to our hotel venue.
Here you will find many different beautiful beaches to relax at. You can also find the Isla Verde coral reef and marine reserve if you're looking for more sight seeing, and aquatic excursions.
Here you will find El Yunque, national forest, you will be able to experience miles of trails to numerous peaks, streams of water, waterfalls, and observation points. This place is known for its waterfall, and is a great spot for pictures as well.
Close to Isla Verde, it is known for the African roots of Puerto Rican culture as well as music and food. You will find a boardwalk with many food kiosks, where you can try different Puerto Rican dishes, such as empanadas (our bride's favorite), mofongo (our groom's favorite), and alcapurrias. Right next door to this area you will also find a fun hangout spot called drift beach side, that has live music and great views.
