What is the dress code?

Please come dressed in formal attire – think “formal garden party,” with spring colors encouraged! We hope to see the gentlemen in coats and ties, and ladies in formal cocktail dresses. (We DO NOT expect tuxedos!) We kindly ask that you dress modestly for the Catholic Wedding Mass.

What’s going on with this gap between the Mass and reception? What are we supposed to do?

We know this isn’t the most traditional in the south, but after attending many weddings over the past couple years, we found that having the “Catholic Gap” allows us to be part of the entire reception WITH YOU. To make the most of the break, feel free to check out our “Things to Do” and “Churches” pages for suggestions. Whether you grab a coffee, explore our hometown, or take a break at your hotel, you should get ready to PARTY!!

Where should we park at the church?

There is plenty of parking directly in front of the church, across the street in the gravel area, and on both sides of the building.

Are children invited? Can I bring a guest to the reception?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those formally listed on your invitation. Please text/call Nick or Sarah with any questions!

Can I receive the Eucharist at Mass?

In the Catholic Church, only baptized Catholics who are in a state of grace and believe in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist can receive Communion. If you're not Catholic, you're welcome to come forward—simply place your arms on your chest in the form of a cross and the priest will give you a blessing!

How can I pray for Sarah and Nick as they prepare for marriage?

We each have a special devotion to our confirmation saints, St. Maximilian Kolbe and St. Gianna Molla. As we meet through Our Lady of Fatima, we consider her the patron of our relationship and ask for her intercession often. Please pray for many blessings on our marriage that we may have the strength to live out this beautiful vocation.
