Encinitas has tons of our favorite San Diego stops, and also the closest nightlife in the area. We love to walk around and hit the restaurant bars on S Coast HWY 101. Some honorable mentions in the area are Broad Street Dough Co, the BEST made to order donuts, The Taco Stand (http://letstaco.com/), has amazing authentic Mexican food for a great price, Better Buzz is a coffee chain in SD that is also one of our favorites, and Bier Garden Encinitas is a delicious restaurant/bar that you can watch games at.
For going out, Home & Away and Shelter are fun spots, 1st street if you want more of a dive bar.
Wineries
There are so many wineries throughout Temecula to experience. Some companies offer winery tours on trolleys that may be worth looking into for a full tasting experience. We listed our favorite wineries below to help narrow down the vast array of options, including one with a yearly pumpkin patch that will be in season that could be a fun family experience.
