We both decided during the pandemic to pursue our passion for culinary arts at The University of Hawaii Maui College. We met on day one of our first class not knowing what God had in store for us,

For our entire first year of college, we had all the same courses together and got to work side-by-side as classmates. Through that time, we started building a friendship inside and outside of school.

We finally got the courage to confess to one another that we both had secret crushes and decided to go on a first date to one of our favorite places, the beach!

With a great friendship as the foundation, we confidently chose to make it official knowing that our bond was something special.

Our first Christmas together was in California, creating incredible memories together, where Aliza got to meet Nicholas' whole family!

The next year, we got to spend time with Aliza's side of the family exploring Maui together, where Nicholas fit right in and our families got to meet for the first time.

The next Christmas was spent celebrating in our first home together, where we are still currently blessed to live, in Kula.

We took a big vacation to Texas where Nicholas met all of Aliza's extended family, and we got to travel to another country for the first time to celebrate his birthday!

For Nicholas' next birthday, we planned a trip to Hana, where he proposed at our favorite beach called Hamoa. Her response was "absolutely"!

After more than four beautiful blessed years together, we will get to say yes on the same island our love story has been created on with all of our loved ones as witnesses!
