SOOO what's the story?

Nick and Theresa met in August of 2016 at a gelato stand called Vero in a local Mariano's where mutual friends set us up to meet. After our first encounter, it didn't take long for Nick to message Theresa, and they quickly became best of friends. On April 01, 2017, Nick officially asked Theresa to be his girlfriend. Eight years later we still consider ourselves the longest-running April Fool's joke. We have loved our journey of growing together, learning from one another, finding that life partner in each other.

Over the last almost decade we have explored countless adventures together, from hiking in the Colorado mountains to rowing down a new lake in our kayaks. One of our biggest adventures yet was signing on our home ironically also on November 01, 2022. We have spent the last two years making memories where we live with our fur babies Daisy and Nox.

We knew from very early on that this was forever, this is my person. One of our favorite memory's stems from our bridesmaid, Angelica. After spending the day together, she remembers looking at Nick who was looking at Theresa and knew that was it. The fate was set. On July 21st, 2024, Nick took Theresa to a place she had always wanted to go to: the Chicago Botanical Gardens. In typical Theresa fashion, she was too excited for the flowers to even realize the plan Nick set in place. After some convincing, Nick finally got Theresa in a perfect place to ask the most important question of their lives; will you marry me? Here we are now onto the biggest adventure to date.
