Q + A

Where will I stay?

We will provide some accommodation options in the Travel tab. The Majahua Palms resort, which we are using as our venue, has limited housing options. We will provide links to all other accommodation available, but Majahua Palms will be reserved for immediate family.

How long should I come down for?

We will likely come out to the beach for the week leading up to the wedding (like the 19th-20ish). We would love if you wanted to join us for that and make a holiday of it! The Majahua/Troncones area is a beautiful and has a lot of fun vacation stuff to offer. As for events, the wedding will be on Friday the 25th, with a pre-wedding cocktail Thursday the 24th.

Where do I need to fly into?

Zihuatanejo-Ixtapa International Airport (https://ixtapa-airport.com/). It's a 30-45 minutes drive from the accommodation. There are plenty of taxi services, but as the dates get closer, we will coordinate with our guests to organize arrivals.

How do I reach the wedding venue from my hotel?

Majahua and Troncones (neighboring) are very small towns with a lot of hotels and boutique hotels close together. Some accommodation is walkable (via the beach), but for most, there are plenty of taxi services in the area. The taxi services can usually be organized for you by your concierge.

Do I need a visa to visit Mexico?

PLEASE VERIFY THIS INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING AS THINGS CHANGE AND WE HAVEN'T ACCOUNTED FOR ALL PASSPORT TYPES BUT: If you hold an American or British passport, you do not need a tourist visa to enter Mexico. If you hold a South African passport, you do.
