Our story began all the way back in November 2012 when Nick was too impatient to ask Ashlyn out in person and texted her over the weekend instead (because teenagers I guess). Neither thought the relationship would end up as serious as it did, but Nick knew pretty soon when he told his best friend he would likely marry the first girl he ended up dating longer than 2 months (which Ashlyn was the first).

Through high school, college, and several moves to different states and countries, Nick and Ashlyn's relationship grew as they went from teenagers to adults and loved each other even more. They got their first dog, Tango, in 2018 and their young family of 2 became a family of 3.

After Ashlyn accepted a job in Kansas City in 2021, the couple moved in together across the street from where they both went to middle school. In their first home, they got their second dog, Oscar, and a family of 3 became a family of 4. Since then, Nick and Ashlyn have traveled to 2 different countries and several states to vacation and see their friends, and loved every minute of it.

In October 2023, the couple decided that after 11 years of dating, they were ready to get married. A ring was purchased less than a month later and Ashlyn wore it out of the store! Nick and Ashlyn are excited to have you all to their wedding on June 8, 2024, where they will be be celebrating 4,222 days together! They expect to travel to many more places and adopt many more dogs in the future and can't wait to share it all with their family and friends! Love you all <3
