At 5am on June 4th of 2023, Brogan sat next to Nichole at the airport, both preparing to board a plane to Israel for a biblical studies trip. Little did they know, less then a year later they would be engaged. After the trip was over Nichole began attending the church that, as luck would have it, was Brogans home church. While they tried to play it casual it was obvious that there was an connection forming as they stayed at Chic-Fil-A talking after ministry nights till midnight every week.

The night before Nichole drove back to school in Arizona, Brogan realized he wanted to keep talking... So, he asked her to get ice cream so they could make a plan. After moving to Arizona their weekly calls turned into daily calls and when Nichole came home for "a weekend off" (she missed him) he asked her to be his girlfriend.

From there the two spent dozens of hours on planes flying to see each other and quickly fell in love. As much fun as the traveling was they realized saying goodbye wasn't so appealing. So on Easter weekend when Nichole came home, Brogan asked her to never say goodbye again, and marry him.
