Michael is Jonathan’s older cousin and the guy that’s probably the easiest to spot in a room with his towering height. He is a man who normally doesn’t question himself… but when he does, he likes the answer. When he isn’t saving Ontario from the government’s mistakes he can be found living it up with his new wife Tia or walking his goldendoodle Samson. Michael is a man of many talents from making award winning Mead, being an accomplished artist and being the guy that helped Jonathan write his dating profile which sparked that match from Nicholle. Michael then became the honorary “third wheel” for many work out/dinner dates that followed which included many kg of gnocchi. You will probably find him around the bar or chatting up the storm at the wedding, but with moves like his, we have no doubt he’ll be the first one up on the dancefloor!

Hello! My name is Andrew and I first met Jonathan in grade 9. One day in shop class, while learning about safety, I really got to know Jonathan well. I remember the day vividly. The assignment was to create a poster focused on shop safety and I will never forget Jonathan’s poster design. It carried with it a message I still consider to be true to this day... To find out what the message was, please ask Jonathan (we’ll see if he can remember!). I didn’t realize it then, but I see now that I didn’t just build a poorly designed wooden key holder in that class, I also built a lifelong friendship. We shared in some good times over the years and I am very happy that Nicholle has joined in our shenanigans. I look forward to keeping the good time rolling and celebrating hard for Jonathan and Nicholle’s wedding party!

Sparky and I met on a stormy night in Timbuktu. I was a treasure hunter and Sparky was a professional escape artist. We were recruited for a highly dangerous job, and - both swearing it would be our last - we narrowly made our escape and went into hiding under our current aliases, Nicholle and Katrina. We went our separate ways, never knowing where the other settled until one day Nicholle met a man named Jonathan. As they got to know each other, Jonathan introduced Nicholle to some of his friends and their partners, and there I was again, symbolizing the one thing Nicholle could never master escaping: friendship. It was then that we realized our friendship was destined. I'm so happy to be part of Nicholle and Jonathan's special day and even more thankful to have them in my life. From the moment I met Nicholle I felt her warmth, kindness, and admired her sense of self and goofy humour. Looking forward to meeting everyone and saying hi to familiar faces this coming Spring to celebrate this wonderful couple!

Hello, My name is Lori Ellis and Nicholle is my younger sister, although, many people up to this day believe that we are twins! This made things very interesting when we went to school and also worked at the same part time job! I am so thrilled to be apart of Nicholle and Jonathan’s special day!

I met Jonathan when I was very young. I couldn’t tell you the exact day or anything like that because he has always just been around. I‘ve known Jonathan my whole life except for the first 16 months of my life which I can’t remember anyways so that doesn’t matter. I think there are several times you meet someone during their life, and I think I am probably on the third time of meeting him. The first occurred when we were young brothers and practically did everything together like playing street hockey, video games, and playing with the dog. I moved away to go to university in Ottawa, and he did something similar in moving to London for school. Moving away from your parents changes you and you develop into a new person. After we both finished undergraduate degrees in 2012, we met again and were different people then we were from when I left back in 2006. We both had greatly different experiences in what were two cities very far apart, but there was still a familiarity between the both of us. The third time we met, was when he was doing his best to show off to us after meeting the love of his life. I would always see them going on fun adventures together from the pictures he would post to Facebook such as going to the Toronto Islands, camping, various hikes around the GTA. I’m lucky enough to have met her as well and can say that both Jonathan and her are great together. I’m always shocked with how well they get along even in such a small apartment all the way downtown. She bring such joy into the room when she walks in with her fluffy tail and bouncing and pawing steps. Luna is just such a great dog for Jonathan. Oh, and Nicholle is great too!

I am taking this duty very seriously by practicing and regularly getting my Mom (Renee) to send photo and video updates to Aunty Cool. I am looking forward to the special day!
