ARE CHILDREN WELCOME?

Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding.

If you do plan to travel with them, we would be happy to recommend childcare support for the duration of the celebration:

Angyal is a private babysitter based in Budapest. She holds a degree in pedagogy, speaks fluent English, and has a network of trusted colleagues should additional help be needed.

When contacting her, please reference our wedding and provide the number of children, their ages, and the type of care or supervision you would like her to arrange.

P.S. No relation to Zsófi - Molnár means Miller in Hungarian. :-)

WHAT IS THE ATTIRE?

We recommend summer cocktail for ladies and formal for men. No need for tuxedos or morning suits, but please make sure to wear a tie.

WHAT IS THE WEATHER GOING TO BE LIKE?

June is not too hot. It is generally between 22-28 degrees, so we are hoping for a lovely summer day.

WHEN SHOULD WE FLY?

Celebrations will begin on Friday evening, so we recommend arriving latest by Friday morning and departing Sunday evening to maximise your time and allow you to see this beautiful city.

DO I NEED TO ORGANISE TRANSPORTATION ON THE DAY?

We kindly ask everyone to arrange their own transport to the ceremony location. When ordering a taxi, please ask the taxi driver to drop you off at Starbucks Castle / Halászbástya Étterem (Ha-lahs-bahsh-tyah Ett-eh-rem).

Shuttles will be provided to take guests to the second location after the ceremony to ensure a smooth and comfortable transition.

WILL THERE BE FOOD ON FRIDAY?

Yes. We'll be serving drinks and dinner on the boat.

SHALL I RENT A CAR FOR THE WEEKEND?

We would suggest not to. Taxis and Bolts are everywhere, and public transport is very well connected and cheap. If you stay in the city centre, most tourist destinations are within walking distance.

WHAT IS THE CURRENCY?

Hungary's currency is the Hungarian Forint (HUF). It is handy to get some cash for tips (not mandatory), but you can pay with card basically anywhere.

DO I NEED TO WEAR A HAT?

Hats are not required, however, you are more than welcome to wear them.

IS THEIR PARKING AT PARISI UDVAR HOTEL?

Please note that Parisi Udvar Hotel does not have parking. If you are arriving by car, you can use the Millenium parking garage: here.
