We met through a mutual friend! It alllll started one year on black Friday when a group of friends and I were at Twelve Oaks. One of the guys in my group spotted a group of his other friends in the Oakley store. Within a rather quick second, I asked "is that one with them too?" Our friend set us up and before you know it, I decided he wasn't the one for me. LOL. Seriously. We went back and forth for a minute but eventually it died out and life went on. Well the next summer we were both at Faster Horses and his group and my group found each other at the same party and Dominic Sultana approached me and asked me to come back to their site to help them wake Nick up who was... well-hydrated. I politely declined and continue dancing on the makeshift bar I was dancing on with my friends. I'd come to find out years later that Dom had some real strong feelings of dislike for me after that. Of course until we became friends later on!! ;) I never met up with Nick at Faster Horses or saw him once before that. After the weekend was over I think I texted him apologizing for being so unwilling and a couple months of talking went by and we had our first official date. He brought me as his plus one to a wedding and the rest was history!! So really I picked him out at the store myself! See below for a pic from our first date♡
