Our Wedding

Nick and Delaney first met their freshman year at Normal Community High School where they shared Biology and US History. Nick's opening line was to talk about the rat dissection exam, but Delaney still gave him her cell phone number on the last day before summer break. The pair started dating in October 2013 after their first date to see Insidious 2. Throughout high school, they attended 3 Homecoming dances, 3 Sadie Hawkins dances, and 2 proms. Nick and Delaney both attended the University of Illinois for their undergraduate degrees, where they continued to date and attended many more dances. Following graduation, Nick moved to Chicago for work while Delaney headed to Indianapolis to attend the Indiana University School of Dentistry. Nick asked Delaney to marry him while on a trip to Charleston, SC in May 2023 and she said YES! Nick joined Delaney in Indianapolis in July 2023 where they share a little red house and a very fat cat. The pair celebrated the 10 year anniversary of their very first date in October 2023. Nick and Delaney will begin their marriage in Ann Arbor, Michigan where Delaney has accepted a position at the University of Michigan Hospital for residency in Hospital Dentistry (and Nick is happy he will no longer have to be sole provider of the household). They look forward to this next phase of their journey together!

McKennah is the younger sister and best friend of the bride. Fun fact: McKennah is in her first year of the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Bradley University in Peoria, IL and she's KILLING IT!

Jacob is the older brother of the groom and the eldest Seger sibling. Fun fact: Jacob is the father of the bride and groom's twin niblings, Charlotte and Greyson!  He also likes to eat Goldfish crackers out of a measuring cup.

Emily is the cousin and best friend of the bride. Fun fact: Emily has spent the last two years living abroad in Paris, France! 

Emily Rodriguez

Andy is the childhood best friend of the groom. Fun fact: Andy and Nick were roommates in Chicago for 3 years before they both moved away from Illinois!  Andy's favorite cuisine is anything seafood!

Andy Pederson

Alison is the older sister of the groom. Fun fact: Alison is also the mother of the bride and groom's Goddaughter, Halle! Halle loves to brush her teeth, which makes her Aunt very proud. 

Alison Keenan

Tom is the BIL of the groom through his sister Alison. Fun fact: Tom's aunt Kris is a close friend of Delaney's aunt Kate! Small world! 

Tom Keenan

Megan is the younger sister of the groom and the youngest Seger sibling. Fun fact: Megan works her dream job as an ER nurse at Rush Hospital in Chicago! 

Megan Seger

Abe is the cousin of the groom. Fun fact: Abe and Nick both lived in Chicago for 3 years where they got to spend a lot of time together with Abe's dog, Freddy!  Abe and Freddy love making deep eye contact.

Abe Elder

The second Megan Seger is the SIL of the groom through his brother Jacob. Fun fact: Before Megan became a mom to the twins, she worked as a wild life firefighter for the Indiana Dunes National Park! 

Spencer is a friend of the groom from early childhood. Fun fact: Spencer used to live on the same street where Delaney grew up. Spencer is also pursuing a career in plant science, and although Nick considers him a best friend, Spencer's best friends are really his peppers.

Spencer O'Flaherty 

Micayla is a friend and college roommate of the bride. Fun fact: Micayla actually knew Nick as childhood neighbors long before meeting Delaney!

Micayla Mathieson

Josh is a friend of the groom from high school. Fun fact: Josh has two kids of his own, Cassius and Serena!  Josh is also a very sad Detroit Lions fan.  But, he is the best golfer in the friend group.

Josh Smith

Abby is a friend and college roommate of the bride. Fun fact: Abby also met Nick before meeting Delaney through the groom's freshman roommate! 

Abby Kalsto

Mitch is a friend of the groom from childhood. Fun fact: Mitch is working toward his PhD in Neuroscience at Dartmouth College! He works very hard giving drugs to rats.

Mitch Turner

Connor is the boyfriend of the bride's sister, McKennah. Fun fact: Connor is a fellow NCHS and UIUC graduate, and has been dating McKennah for 8 years!

Connor Lay

Johnny is the boyfriend of the groom's sister, Megan. Fun fact: Johnny met megan through mutual friends at the University of Iowa before reconnecting while both living in Chicago!

Johnny Caracciolo

Brody is a lifelong friend of the Davis Family, and the closest thing Delaney has to a "little" brother. Fun fact: Brody has a very cute chocolate lab named Caddis!

Brody Ellingsworth 

Nick and Delaney's little niblings will be featured during the nuptials as the flower girls and ring bearer! This is going to be unbelievably cute!!!
