The ceremony starts at 4pm. Please arrive 15-30 minutes early so you can park and find a seat.
There will be parking on site, however carpooling to the venue is encouraged!
Will there be parking?
Yes, there will be plenty of parking, but carpooling will help to prevent congestion. Also, the venue is letting us leave cars there overnight, but they need to be picked up by 10 am the next morning.
Are kids allowed?
Yes, kiddos are free to join the festivities! We will have lawn games and bubbles for entertainment.
Just make sure you RSVP for them by looking up their name under the RSVP tab so we know they are coming.
What should I wear?
The dress code is dressy casual, AKA "sunday best". Think of it as polished but relaxed! A step up from everyday casual, but no need for a full suit or formal gown. Dresses, skirts, dress pants, or nice jumpsuits are great for ladies, while guys can go with slacks or chinos paired with a button-up shirt, tie optional. Above all, wear something you feel comfortable in!
As a note, most of the wedding will be on grass, so keep that in mind when choosing footwear. Evening temperatures may also get a little chilly, so a light layer would be a good idea just in case.
Is this an outdoor wedding?
Yes, the wedding will be mainly outdoors. The ceremony will take place outside, cocktail hour will be indoor/outdoor and then dinner and the reception will be outside. There will be dancing on a lighted outdoor patio.
Where should I stay?
There are several hotels within ~15 mins from the venue in Nevada City, as well as several campgrounds and AirBnb's. Click on the "Travel" section of the website for some suggestions!
Will dinner be served at the reception?
Yes! We are having BBQ catered buffet style. We will also have snacks during cocktail hour after the ceremony.
What if I have other questions?
If you have any other questions, feel free to contact Maddy (775-450-5626) or Nick (775-600-7859).
