Which airport should we/I fly into?
There are a few airports in the area.
Monterey Airport is about 8 miles away. Which is about 15 minutes away. (This airport is a little harder to find flights to.)
San Jose Airport is about 80 miles away. Which is about 1.25 hours away.
San Francisco Airport is about 106 miles away. Which is about 1.75 hours away.
Oakland Airport is about 110 miles away. Which is about 1.75 to 2 hours away.
Are children invited?
We love all your children, but to allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully ask that no one under the age of 21 attend.
What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
We kindly ask everyone to arrive between 3:30 pm to 3:45 pm.
What is the dress code?
We are asking our guests to please wear formal attire. Everyone needs an excuse to dress up for an evening out.
Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be outside, and the cocktail hour and reception will be located indoors. There will also be outdoor areas to enjoy during the cocktail hour and reception.
What will the weather be like?
In the past, November has been sunny, but still have a chill in the air. The ceremony will be taking place outside as the sun is setting. We suggest bringing a comfy coat to stay warm.
What will your wedding day timeline look like?
The Ceremony starts at 4:00 pm. The Cocktail Hour is 30 minutes later. Party goes until 9:00 pm.
How do i get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?
We have included a page for driving instructions on this website. Navigation also provides great instructions for the venue. If, instead, you would prefer to leave your car at your hotel, transportation to the venue is provided. The shuttle will pick up in front of Mulligan Public House off of Dolores Street in Carmel-By-The-Sea. The 10 passenger shuttle will be running from 3:00pm until 3:55pm. Transportation will also be provided back to your hotel rooms within Carmel or to the After Party. The 12 passenger shuttle will be running from 8:00pm until 9:30pm. Both shuttles are complimentary, and have been tipped generously.
Is there parking available at the wedding venue?
Yes! There is plenty of parking! You are also able to park overnight if you had a little too much fun, and decided to take the complimentary shuttle back to your accommodation.
What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?
We will be serving tray passed hor d’oeuvres during the cocktail hour followed by a full service meal for dinner. We will also be having an open bar throughout the night for all our friends and family to enjoy. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies please make sure to note it when you RSVP.

Instead of suggesting one hotel we have decided to recommend a few of our favorite among the many amazing Inn’s and Bed and Breakfast’s that Downtown Carmel has to offer. Please head over to the Accommodations page for the information.
Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?
We are having an unplugged ceremony, and hoping that all our guests either mute or turn off their electronic devices and put down their cameras to be fully present. However, we encourage all our guests to take as many photos as you wish during the reception. Please remember to use at least one of our hashtags so that we can easily find them to enjoy.

Will there be any other events to attend during the wedding weekend?
Nick and Virginia are hoping to have an informal get-together on Friday, November 10 at The Hog’s Breath Inn off of San Carlos Street and 5th Avenue in Carmel around starting around 4:30 pm. Nick and Virginia are also planning on having brunch the next morning at Stationæry on San Carlos Street between 5th and 6th Avenue in Carmel-By-The-Sea, and everyone is welcome to join us if they wish.
When will the reception end? Will there be an after party?
The reception ends at 9:00 pm, and we will be continuing the celebration at Mulligan Public House.
