Monterey Regional Airport
The closest airport is Monterey Regional Airport which is roughly a 1 hour drive (47 miles) from the venue.
There are multiple rental car agencies on the 1st floor of the terminal next to baggage claim.
BWI (Baltimore) unfortunately does not have any direct flights to MRY but there are multiple connecting flights.
SAN (San Diego) does have some non stop flights on Alaska to MRY.
San Jose Mineta International Airport
SJC is roughly 2 hours and 23 minutes (118 miles) from the venue by car, but provides a scenic route along the Ocean passing through Monterey and Big Sur.
SJC has a rental car center that is located across Airport Boulevard from Terminal B, and is accessible by walking from baggage claim. Passengers arriving at Terminal A or International Arrivals can take the airport shuttle bus to the Rental Car Center. It is open daily from 5:30 am - 12:30 am.

San Francisco International Airport
SFO is roughly a 3 hour drive (158 miles) to the venue but provides a very scenic and famous route along the coast that passes through Monterey and Carmel by the Sea.
SFO does have a rental car center located at 780 N. McDonnell Road, San Francisco, CA 94128. You can access the center from the airport terminals by taking the AirTrain Blue Line, which runs 24 hours a day.

SAN (San Diego) does provide some non stop flights on Southwest, Frontier, Alaska, and United to SFO.
We're excited to share our plans! We'll be staying in Big Sur (along with most of the bridal party) on August 6th and 7th and then heading up to Carmel-by-the-Sea for the rest of our time. This way, everyone has a chance to experience the beauty of both amazing towns.
Feel free to stay wherever you'd like and for as long as you wish-just wanted to keep everyone in the loop about our plan. We'll have shuttles picking up guests from the hotel before the wedding and dropping them off after. We can't wait to see you all on the West Coast!
