What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie.

What is the weather typically like?

Summertime on Long Island usually consists of temperatures in the 80's (~28 deg. Celsius) with high humidity.

Is your ceremony on site?

No. We will be celebrating the sacrament of Holy Matrimony at St. Isidore Roman Catholic Church in Riverhead. The Ceremony starts promptly at 1:45pm. We ask all guests attending the ceremony to please arrive at least 15 minutes early.

Will you be offering transportation for your guests?

Yes! We will be offering shuttle service for our guests to/from the hotel and venue. Refer to the "Travel" tab for further details.

What is the timeline for the day?

As noted above, our wedding festivities will originate promptly at 1:45pm at St. Isidore R.C Church, which is where our ceremony will be held. After the ceremony, the newlyweds and bridal party will be taking pictures nearby. We encourage guests to check-in to the hotel at this time (see "Travel" tab for information on the hotel block) if you will be staying overnight, or simply explore the area. Cocktail hour will begin at 5:30pm at Giorgio's and shuttle service will be available for our guests to/from the hotel and venue (refer to the "Travel" tab for more details). Cocktail hour will run until approximately 7pm, at which point, guests will be escorted into the main wedding hall for the reception. The reception will end at approximately 11pm; however, we will be having an afterparty on-site which will run until 1am.

Will there be an afterparty?

Absolutely! While the reception will end at approximately 11pm; we will be having an on-site afterparty at Giorgio's until 1am.

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Where can I park?

Ceremony: There is free on-site parking at the church. Hotel: There is free on-site parking at Hotel Indigo for guests staying at the property. Reception Venue: There will be complimentary valet parking provided on-site, for the duration of the event. Tips for the valet are not included and are encouraged.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Yes! We have blocked off rooms at Hotel Indigo in Riverhead. Refer to the "Travel" tab for additional details. Please note, while there are other hotels located in the area, we encourage our guests to book within the block as we will be offering complimentary transportation to/from this hotel and the venue.

Can I bring a date/guest?

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget and therefore our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Is it really a party if there aren't any food/drinks? During cocktail hour and reception there will be a bountiful amount of food available to guests. Cocktail hour will feature buffet style stations and our reception will feature a sit-down dinner. Moreover, we note there will be options for Vegetarian, Vegan, and/or gluten free. Additionally, we will be offering an open bar for our guests. Please note that outside food/beverage is not permitted due to regulations.

When is the RSVP deadline?

We kindly ask our guests to please RSVP by May 17th, 2024 at the absolute latest. We are required to provide a final guest count and payment to our venue at this time and we may not be able to accommodate late RSVPs.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, a contribution towards our honeymoon fund in the form of cash/check would be most appreciated. There will be a wedding card box will be at our reception.

Am I allowed to take photos and/or video?

We would prefer to have a fully "unplugged" event to allow for all our guests to be present in the moment and experience the joy and excitement of our special day. Please note that we have hired professional photographers and cinematographers to capture all our special moments with you and we would be more than happy to share the footage with you once received. Additionally, we will have an interactive photobooth at our reception for guests to take photos with one another.

What should I expect after the ceremony?

There will be a gap in time between the conclusion of the ceremony and the start of cocktail hour (5:30pm). For those guests with overnight accommodations, we encourage you to proceed to the hotel and check-in. For those not planning to stay overnight, we encourage guests to explore the area.
