Our Wedding

We met in college at Cal State Fullerton. We started dating in 2006. Since then, lots has happened! We bought our first dog together, Deucey. A few years after that, we bought our first home. Then, we adopted our other dog, Georgie. Most importantly, in 2013, we welcomed our beautiful daughter, little miss Zoey Rae, to the world. And now, we are making our family official, and tying the knot!We've done lots of traveling in between, and decided that a destination wedding fits us perfectly! Amongst the many beautiful places we have been lucky enough to travel, Costa Rica was one of them, and it was an unforgettable trip. So why not get married here with our closest family and friends?!

Please book your flights arriving into San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO). Once you arrive in San Jose, there will be additional travel needed to reach Playa Santa Teresa. San Jose is 25 minutes by plane or 5-6 hours by car, including a ferry-ride into town. Please note ferry times are as follows: 5 am, 9 am, 11 am, 2 pm, 5 pm, 8:30 pm. Tambor Airstrip is 40 minutes by car from the destination. You can either charter your own plane, and land at Tambor Airstrip, or there are 3 commercial flights per day. If you choose to charter your own plane, please contact Captain Everado Carmona Rojas at <a href="mailto:evecarmon@carmonair.com">evecarmon@carmonair.com</a> He will be able to assist you with further information. Once you land at Tambor Airstrip, you will need to have a car sent for you or rent your own vehicle. Please reach out to us directly with any questions. * It is highly recommended to travel by plane rather than car.**Those looking to travel in groups can also charter a larger plane or minibus to reach the Villas.

This little beach city has a lot to offer. It's known for its fantastic surf, where you can learn how to surf, or just sit and enjoy the beach. There are also quad tours, canopy and zip line tours, waterfall walks, and butterfly farms. There's plenty of fishing spots as well as lobster fishing too.** Please note, this city is a Cash only city. Please plan accordingly.
