Please book your flights arriving into San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO). Once you arrive in San Jose, there will be additional travel needed to reach Playa Santa Teresa. San Jose is 25 minutes by plane or 5-6 hours by car, including a ferry-ride into town. Please note ferry times are as follows: 5 am, 9 am, 11 am, 2 pm, 5 pm, 8:30 pm. Tambor Airstrip is 40 minutes by car from the destination. You can either charter your own plane, and land at Tambor Airstrip, or there are 3 commercial flights per day. If you choose to charter your own plane, please contact Captain Everado Carmona Rojas at evecarmon@carmonair.com He will be able to assist you with further information. Once you land at Tambor Airstrip, you will need to have a car sent for you or rent your own vehicle. Please reach out to us directly with any questions.
