We met for the first time in person on November 7th 2022, but had met online weeks prior. With a little over a month of dating, Steven said I had to be the one to make it official as I was the more recent of the two of us to go through a breakup. So December 27th he came over to my apartment where I had him go on a scavenger hunt ending where I had asked to become official.

Now give it a little over a year and a half, a new job and a new apartment for Steven. On April 8th 2024, he asked me to marry him during the total eclipse while we were watching it from the back yard. (We only had one pair of glasses to watch). Which then sparked me job hunting so I could move to be with him, and planning. Thankfully we found a beautiful venue that does it all for us!

Now there is more to our story than just when we met and when we started dating, when he proposed and to where we are now. But that is a lot to type out because yes we’ve only been together and known eachother for a little under 3 years, we’ve had so many experiences. We’ve gone camping with the Bussard family, we’ve gone to Canada, we’ve had cookouts and holidays with eachothers families, we’ve hosted events, we’ve gone rock climbing, we’ve had gym dates, we’ve taken care of the other when they were sick.
