No! This is the only option we recommend because it is very close to the venue area. You may also choose to book an Airbnb or another accommodation. We will be providing transport to and from the venue from downtown Vicuña. If you wish to stay in another town, you can get in contact with me to schedule transport.

We recommend constantly checking Google Flights. Flights will range from around $550-$800 depending on dates and when you buy them.

YES! And it must be valid for at least six months after the date of your planned trip out of the country.

Your final airport destination will be La Serena (Aeródromo La Florida, LSC). First you will have to fly to Santiago (Aeropuerto Internacional Arturo Merino Benítez, SCL). Once in Santiago, you will need to either take a connecting flight to La Serena (LSC) or you can drive about 6 hours from Santiago to Vicuña. The connecting flight is about 1 hour, and your luggage will meet you there!

From La Serena airport, you can either rent a car or take a taxi. It is about 45 minutes to Vicuña. If you choose to rent a car, be cautious on the highway to Vicuña. It is a 2 lane highway and it is common that locals will drive very fast and pass you.

Yes! You can rent a car at the airport in Chile. I recommend reserving your car online beforehand. Check out the major car rental companies that you are familiar with, odds are they have a branch in Chile! I recommend renting a car from La Serena airport (LSC). You can also rent from Santiago airport and drive to Vicuña. It is about a 6 hour drive. Your license is valid in Chile as a tourist. Also, it is likely that your credit card already comes with tourist car rental insurance.

We will have a transportation option from the center of Vicuña that will take guests to and from the venue area on the day of the wedding. More details to come.
