Where Should I Stay?

We have blocked off rooms at two nearby hotels. We will be organizing shuttle services to and from the venue for the wedding and brunch for both hotels.

Can I stay at the castle?

The castle does operate as a hotel with a limited number of rooms. We have reserved these for our parents and bridal party. Those who have castle rooms set aside have been notified. With that being said, all are welcome to come and hang out on the property at any point on Thursday and Friday, and of course join for breakfast on Saturday – we would love to see your faces!

How Do I Get To The Venue?

LaGuardia, JFK, and Newark are the closest airports in that order. From there it is about an hour and a half drive from each airport. There are also public transit options available – see below.

Parking: There will be a valet service at Oheka for those that drive.

What is the dress code?

We are requesting that our guests dress in black tie attire.

What colour are the bridesmaids wearing?

The bridesmaids will be wearing different shades of green, so if you are hoping not to blend in with them, we would recommend steering clear of green!

What are the food options?

After the ceremony, there will be a formal cocktail hour (hors d’oeuvres plus food stations), followed by a dinner reception. There will be lots of food, so we recommend keeping any food prior to the event light. At dinner, there will be meat, chicken, fish, and vegetarian options available. Brunch on Saturday following the wedding will be served from 7:30 AM – 10:00 am. All are welcome.

Where do I submit my dietary restrictions/requests?

There is no need to do this in advance. Just notify the waitstaff at your table upon arrival to the reception.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes!

When do I need to RSVP by?

We kindly ask that you RSVP on our wedding website by no later than September 1, 2024. If you already know your RSVP status, we appreciate you responding ASAP.

Will there be any post-wedding activities?

Following the wedding on Friday, for those that venture into NYC and staying for the weekend, we will be organizing an informal post-wedding bash at a bar in Manhattan. Details to come!

Can I bring my kids?

As much as we love your little ones, we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding – thank you for your understanding. (this excludes the direct family members that we’ve already spoken to)
